All ghost caps are premature pearls, but all premature pearls are not ghost caps.

I felt the need to make this thread after quite a few players had been misunderstanding rules in recent matches.

First I'll define the two different types of caps as agreed upon by the mods in charge of CTF teams and the reps who represent the individual teams.

Ghost cap: Throwing an enderpearl from outside the flagroom, running in and stealing the flag.
Premature pearling: Throwing an enderpearl before grabbing the flag.

How these two definitions work together:

1. If ghosting is allowed, premature pearling is allowed, as to ghost you must premature pearl.
2. If premature pearling is banned, it is inferred that ghost capping is banned as you must premature pearl to ghost cap.
   
3. If ghost capping is banned, but premature pearling is not you can throw an enderpearl from the flagpost to anywhere prior to grabbing the flag.
4. If both ghost capping and premature pearling are banned, you must grab the flag before throwing your enderpearl.

(Sidenote: Neither ghosting or premature pearling are covered under mandatory match rules, so you must specify them on your thread if you wish for them to be banned.)
