Yes you say chemist is op but if ninjas can 3-4 shot it obviously they are gona die. It doesn't matter how high the health pool is because if your being hit by 3 ninjas at once your gona have about 1 second to heal and usually pots take 1 second to actually heal you so gg. I'm saying chemist would be op if it wasn't laggy but brawl is laggy so it's not as op as on mcpvp.

The thing about chemists - Damage potions. If those ninjas, all 3, don't pearl, you have range and xp to spam. If they do, they lose health, and spamming pots will kinda help you. That or /chemist quickly. The chances of 3 ninjas trying to kill a chemist are low unless the chemist has the flag.

Try playing with other people, send in some heavy's or mage's first, and let them kill the ninjas.

Yes but that still defeats the point of trying to prevent 2 ninjas being equal to an unblockable assassin. Should ninja should deal a few hearts less damage to chemist than classes with equal armour i.e medic?

ok but...you don't actually have the xp to throw dmg at em if you've just healed yourself from getting out the flagroom

I'm not one of those chemists who use 5 dmg potions every 10 secs I use like 2-3 every 10 secs.

Its a great time to live when people think 1 Chemist dying to 3 other people means Chemist is balanced

And stop whining about lag, just don't play.

Classes with steak (like soldier and heavy), and chemist with its "infinite" pool of health both heal very differently and are effectively killed in very contrasting ways. Steak classes will generally only die once their steak runs out, while chemists will generally only die from not health potting in time.

And to refer to 1 chemist dying to 3 other people, (and if we're hypothetically comparing it to a steak class) a chemist will instantaneously die, with all of its steak... But steak is nice because all it takes is an ez hotkey, while health potting takes probs x3 as much time as you have to look down. So a 3-shot (although it's usually a 2-shot from being down a heart or two) is x3 harder to actually heal in time than with steak. You can compare this with 2-shotting a pyro... a pyro (with steak) will heal itself, under a 2-shot circumstance, x3 "easier" than a chemist. It's safe to say that it's near impossible to heal in time if you, as a chemist, are nonchalantly missing a heart or two and are suddenly attacked by a sneaky ninja who has two consecutive hits on you. You will be 2-shotted, and at best you would be looking down attempting to heal yourself. Furthermore, archer deals 9.5 hearts of damage with a fully pulled back bow, so a combination of archer and ninja is an automatic insta-kill. I can upload video evidence if necessary xD But not only do you have to heal yourself in time, but you also have to attack the ninja(s) back. Because if you don't attack the ninja(s) back, with either your sword or damage pot, then the ninja(s) (or archer or whatever class is there too) will surely and quickly kill you. So sometimes you have to choose whether to attack your opponent or to heal yourself; however, even if you decide and manage to pull one of those off, it doesn't get the job fully done. Because, in the end, either: you will still be alive with the ninja still consecutively attacking you, or you or the ninja will be dead with the surviver having barely a heart left.
    So yes... it's quite balanced.

So you're a chemist running through a hallway that's 2 blocks high. A ninja is camping there, ready to kill you. They appear, throw an egg at you so you temporarily can't see anything and crit. When the chemist sees the ninja, it looks down and heals. This takes a tiny period of time, but the ninja getting another hit in will only be in another fraction of a second. So great, you threw a heal pot at the floor below you. Oh no, that ninja knocked you back, meaning that the heal doesn't land below you, it lands below the ninja. Healing it. Then you have to try again, using up your XP levels up really fast given that you now seem to have to throw your heal pots 2-3 times a second! Combine that with the rubbish mechanics of 1.8 PvP and you can't even kill this ninja! The only way is to use up dmg pots, meaning that after 2-7 seconds, you've ran out of XP. Great. Now, you die.

So people say that 'chemist has a massive health pool' and that it's 'way too op' and I'm certainly not saying it's balanced, but most chemists die even before they use up the same amount of health that a soldier has.

tl;dr chemist has a large health pool, but is very easy to kill as ninja. This defeats the point if the health pool.

I've not even mentioned those pinglord ninjas. [insert facepalm here]

^ on my phone, sry for any grammar mistakes idk

What if you were handed the flag, or the flagroom was empty, or you had a medic, or a possible mage/chemist supporter?

Yeah, ok. But people have always judged chemist in the way that it could have a huge health pool, however most of the time they only use 2-5 pots in the flagroom before the kb is too much or not enough xp. That's my point. The end.
