    I made this class idea a while back in Discourse. I'm posting it again because it got a lot of positive feedback. If you recognize this idea, make sure to at least rate it if you're too lazy to post any feedback. Thanks! :smile:

    Class Idea: Pirate
    This class is mainly intended to be offense-based.

    Armor
    Black Leather Cap
    Iron Chestplate
    Black Leather Pants
    Iron Boots


    Inventory
    Ex: Item (Item Name)
    Iron Sword (Pirate's Cutlass)
    Bow (Pirate's Cannon)
    Spawn Slime Egg (Spawn Parrot)
    Compass
    Class Selector

    Class Abilities
    Cannon:
    Pros:
    - A projectile is shot like a dispenser shoots a fire charge.
    - A TNT explosion will happen if the fire charge hits a block or entity.
    - This TNT explosion will knock players back
    Cons:
    - This fire charge will only be launched if the bow is fully drawn back. Otherwise, a message will say "Your cannon needs to be fully charged to shoot!"
    - The fire charge will explode after traveling 20 blocks.
    - The TNT explosion will only give half the damage of a normal TNT explosion

    Parrot:
    Pros:
    - When you right click the spawn egg, a bat (parrot) will appear.
    - You will become the bat and you are able to fly around and explore the whole map.
    - Right clicking the spawn egg again will send you back to where you were.
    Cons:
    - The parrot can only be used once
    - A player dummy will be left where you were when you spawned the parrot, allowing enemies to kill you.
    - Your parrot cannot take any damage. If it does, the bat immediately dies.
    - Your inventory will cleared of everything but the spawn egg and compass.
    - You cannot damage any enemies when controlling the parrot

    Armor looks nice and unique, and it is not OP at all. +1

    I like the idea of a raiding/seige class, a class that, well, puts an area under seige, like a flag-room for instance. The cannon does a very good job at that, and it is fairly balanced. +1

    As for the parrot, I do not really see much use for it other than scouting. It needs to be either completely overhauled, or tweaked to be made more useful than just checking out the map. +0

    Formatting/Organization suggestion: Your pros are pretty much just class explanations, so I feel that you should either make another section for each item for pros/cons, or just rename the pros to Explanations.

    I don't think he meant the parrot to be able to steal a flag, but we'll see what he says about that.

    Yeah, you're right, it's not meant to do anything else but to look around. It's more for planning out strategies e.g. looking at the defense.

    Op parrot... It distracts the enemy flag carrier and try's to kill it, but cannot hit it. :grinning: jk

    I'm not sure what to think of this class. It's definitely interesting, but I'm not really sure how everything would mesh together. The idea of Parrot espionage is cool, but I don't think it'll actually be overly useful. In CTF, you can generally guess that a Defense will have certain classes in certain positions. Usually, a Pyro and Medic are in the flag room, for example. A parrot feature would probably be better used as a defensive feature, to Scout out Attackers or recoverers (Like an Assassin), but that goes against the design of this class being offensive (The cannon could be a good tool to clear out crowded rooms, for example).

    The idea of an information advantage is very cool but I don't think it would work in MCCTF. The important things you need to know about are the defensive setups (which is usually a pretty cookie cutter pattern), the flag carrier (which the compass does a good job of finding), and the positioning of big or dangerous targets (like Instakilling recovery classes, Ninjas, etc.), which I guess the Parrot can help with. I think the Parrot should be tweaked a little bit, either being a less important factor of the class or being buffed to be less gimmicky. It's a great idea, but it just needs work.

    I have no qualms about the rest of the class, besides the fact that I made a suggestion for a class called Pirate as well [emoji14]

    The Cannon is basically a less annoying Pyro's Bow, which could have some use in crowd control, and the Sword/Armor seems fine, maybe a little on the weak side. Does the class get Steak? That might be helpful.

    So yeah, those are my thoughts. Adjust how the Parrot works. For now, +0

    Good idea! I 100% agree with @Alturia10 . Unfortunately, I don't think anymore classes are being added for right now D: . @Shawn_ , do me a favor and save this class concept for the future so we can get it added =D
