Away PayPal Limited My Account and IP

    I may not be on for the next few days or even weeks because I'm trying to deal with PayPal right now. They have limited my parents, my brother's and my own PayPal account for no god damn reason. I've lost $700, my parents have lost well more than $2k and my brother, well he's my brother. I hope I can fix this, (most likely not) so I can get back to playing brawl again. PS. Anyone have any tips when dealing with an account limitation?

    I'm sorry to say, but this is why I dispise PayPal. A few years ago, there was a massive breach and many people lost their money. They ask for parts of your social security number for peets sake! They are not a good company and they have many flaws. -1 for me.

    This has happened to my parents before. They just contacted PayPal and told them what happened and they fixed it immediately.

    That really sucks! This is one reasons I don't have my bank card linked to my paypal. Good luck with resolving the issue!

    Good luck on fixing it But there are some weird stuff here:
    "I've lost $700" 700 bucks is quite allot How have you lost it? I guess you don't have a bank acc, So how did you get it and loose it? Maybe your granny is "high-tech" and gives your "bank acc" The money not more personally directly to you like Grandparents use to do. (Only a Theory) ((Idk))
    And aswell you lost 700 bucks and your Brother lost none? That seems weird to me?

    If your parents lost over 2k dollars I can understand that, But it still sucks, that's almost 1 month Of hard worked, Well earned Money For lower paying jobs here In Sweden. Must have sucked.

    And the Biggest one: How did you lose the money Was you acc hacked? Or what?

    My friend had to deal with this problem, but for no random reasons.
    He had spent over 1000$ in 3 weeks as a 12 year old.

    Is it possible that one of your family members had done the same to a greater or smaller scale?

    Either way, I hope it works out for you in the end.

    PS: Why do you need PayPal to play brawl? P2W much?

    I play CS:GO, and I have a $1.6k inventory on there. I also own several minecraft accounts with OG names and a whole bunch of Optifine Capes. I had sold most of my CS:GO items, and was proceeding to selling my minecraft accounts and OF capes. That's how I earned my $700. My parents have had their PayPal since 2012 and they usually use it for online stuff, but they don't attach a credit card/bank account just because of safety. I technically didn't lose the money, its all still there in the PayPal, but they said they can't unlock it ever because apparently we have broken one of their "violations". We asked them what violation we broke and their reply was "Sorry we cannot share this information with you". So I guess we're out of luck. Might as well forget about it all and start playing Brawl again.

    I've only spent a total of like $50 max on Brawl in my past 2 years. I stopped playing Brawl because I was trying to get my PayPal fixed? If you have a PayPal with over $500 and it got limited, would you not care about it? Oh and yeah none of us have spent over $300 in even a month, so that definitely isn't that case. Anyways thanks for all the helpful replies, I'm going to start playing again!
