Very small but hopefully now heavy, what's meant to be a tanking class, will stand a chance against chemist. Heavy should take less damage from harming potions and poison shouldn't last as long, so chemist can't easily take out a heavy by dropping a few potions on them.

A class which doesn't instakill shouldn't be able to take out the only tanking class in the game with relative ease, so hopefully more resistance to potions should change this, and another counter to chemist wouldn't be too awful.

How about crouching will minimise the effect or something, but I do agree that Heavy die easily from Chemists.

If you're a buffed Heavy, you can kill a Chemist fairly quickly if you get them in a combo. If they're a good Chemist like BFK, then you don't really stand a chance.
Like the mechanic for Turtle in HG? Would they be able to hit other players while crouching, because that would be a little over powered.

You don't really get given buffs anymore. A lot less people use teamwork, especially chemists. Heavy on its own should be able to take down a chemist - it's meant to be a tanking class.

Perhaps, but an important thing about any changes to heavy is that it remains simple, as it's the default class.

Chemist is a more versatile class, while heavy is a more simple one. Chemist plays with more mobility and bursts of strength, while heavy plays slower with more constant overwhelming power. The amor on an offensive heavy is essential against ninjas and its (buffed) diamond sword can be even more essential for quickly taking out a defense. Though, a heavy can really outshine a chemist defensively. What makes heavy OP on defense (and it becomes twice as deadly when buffed) is how it doesn't have to worry about looking down every second to health pot itself, but can easily pack a bigger/quicker punch and knock back by keeping its cursor on its target. Though, when actually 1v1ing a chemist, a chemist should be able to keep the heavy at bay with a sort of forcefield of harmful pots, but there is no easy kill for either side. The chemist needs to be within attack range to kill the heavy, because just pot-spamming just out of distance will not kill the heavy but will just keep him/her at bay. Charging into a spray of damage pots isn't always the best option, but the heavy should wait until the chemist opens up and becomes inherently vulnerable from either charging or engaging in a sword attack. When within range, the heavy has an equal opportunity to exchange sword swings, but an even greater opportunity to deal a quick and powerful combo/crit (esp. if buffed) which can be deadly to a chemist, just like with a ninja. The chemist's mobility is one of its greatest weapons, so a heavy can also use its surrounding environment (when given the circumstance) to its advantage and wall or corner the chemist to death.
@ByzakaByazantine (idk if the tag worked Dx)
Byz, as heavy, and I, as chemist, 1v1 a bit and it turns out to be a very even fight, down to the last pot/steak. Though I gotta say, Byz is still definitely winning overall xD

Here's a video of me playing defensive heavy to show how OP it can be... (like all classes ^-^)

I think chemist is already balanced

Its mean for aoe / crowd control and standing their ground but when they are up against a ranged class like elf , ranger, or mage they are greatly at the disadvantage.
