Idea Nerf Assassin and Pyro please!

    I know these classes have been around since March of 2013 on MCPVP. But, they are too overpowered because you can one shot with an axe and clicking your redstone for insta-kill. I want these to be nerfed, because overtime I try to get the enemy teams flag, a pyro or assassin comes by and instantly one shots me. I find that to be extremely annoying. So Brawl Team would please, please, please nerf pyro and assassin. I would be appreciated and thankful if you do so. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas :grinning:!!

    Pyro and Assassin are not overpowered. Assassins are very easy to kill unless they catch you by surprise, which is kind of the point of the class. You can block Assassin hits with your Sword, so unless you're a Mage or Pyro you can easily fend them off.

    Pyros can be annoying but they're also an ambush class. I find myself killing far more Pyros than I die to. Any class with good Mobility or Range should easily beat a Pyro. The only class that has a real issue with Pyro would probably be Heavy. Any other class can maneuver away from a Pyro and Strike later, unless the Pyro catches them by surprise.

    Instant Kill classes may seem annoying but they're a necessary evil. Pyros are an important part of Defense, and Assassins are important in Recovery and taking out beefy targets. Without them, flags would be way too easy to grab because there'd be no way to kill people grabbing the flag quickly. Unless you have a Dwarf. In which case flags would be almost impossible to grab since killing the Dwarf without Instant Kills would be near impossible.

    Keep a sharp eye out for Leather Armor and Golden Boots. Instant Kills probably make up less than 30% of my deaths, and most of that 30% is usually Archer Snipes anyway, not Pyros or Assassins.

    Well the only counters to pyro are medic and pyro? I honestly think pyro should be , if caught on fire pyros do 2+ hearts of damage

    Here's a list of Pyro counters: Archer (Snipes from range, Pyro can't get close), Ninja (3-shots Pyro and can easily Redstone out), Assassin (Pyro can't block, Assassin is somehow immune to fire damage when Redstone is active), Elf (Flying, Water Element, Range), Medic (Immune to fire), and Dwarf. Engineer and Mage arguably also counter it. The only classes that really have an issue with Pyro is the be Heavy, and to an extent somewhat Soldier depending on the environment.

    The Pyro can be a hard counter to some classes, but the majority of classes actually counter Pyro unless they get ambushed.

    Pyro is only OP in the flagroom, and archer should never be able to headshot the flagroom. Ninja may be able to 3 shot the pyro, but after that the ninja will probably not have enough health to pick up the flag and get out, and it makes it pretty obvious to the rest of the defence that there's a ninja. Assassin is a counter to every single class, because if you're half decent at it, you can kill anyone without them seeing you. Elf only counters pyro if there's no other people in the flagroom, due to its low armour. Dwarf is only any good in their team's flagroom, and when do you ever see a capping pyro that isn't high or very bored?

    no. they both have a point in the game, and they should not be nerfed. only engi and dwarf need a nerf, and necro needs a buff

    Dwarf has a point in the game, defending, so why does it need a nerf? Engineer has a point in the game, uh, hmm, yeah never mind, but a nerf isn't just going to make Engineer have a point in the game.

    Pyro has a point in the game, which is to defend, and it does that way to well with very little skill. All pyro has to do is hold down right click on a bow and, when you see a player, aim in their direction (you don't even need to aim at them, due to the explosive arrows), then left click them with your axe. It takes little to no skill to use, at all. Pyro and Dwarf do need a nerf (in fact, a complete rework would be better), because although they do have a point in the game, they are too powerful at doing it.

    The elf water element is pathetic when it comes to actually using it. You can only avoid the instakill if your far away from the pyro when it shots you and you do the water element but the drawback makes it really hard to avoid if you're in the flag room for example. By the time you have used the water element to damper out the fire you have already lost valuable time you only avoided maybe 1 heart of damage, and for the water element to be a whole ability for the elf its sad to see...

    A pyro nerf is already on the way. When it comes to assassin, there's no upcoming nerf that I can think of, and I don't really think it needs one. Archer almost definetly needs a rework/nerf of some kind, but let's try to focus on larger issues, aka necro.
