Idea Elf counter nerf (Addresses the same problem)

lol I 100% agree here, elf mobility is one of it's main abilities, since it doesn't have heavy armor or do super high damage, agility is it's friend .

 

This should also apply to new soldier

 

Yknow, being an elf, of course I'm really unhappy with any kind of nerf (I will confess I haven't even had time to play ctf since the nerf but I've had more than enough elf experience anyway). But I do like this suggestion because it solves the same problem that the nerf addressed while not destroying elf's ability to survive without the flag (let alone with the flag because that's usually a game of little success anyway).

 

ye I've had the chance to play elf now. I had a shred of doubt that the nerf was actually that bad. Now that I have seen the truth..... it is absolutely horrible xD

 

The wind element is very unreliable now because it consumes all your arrows in 5-6 usages, leaving the already brittle class even more vulnerable. I like that you have to give up strength for mobility, but if using your mobility almost completely drains your arrows there's no point in using it besides in urgent situations. I rarely ever use my mind element to get around like I used to because it leaves me way too vulnerable to tanky classes like heavy and soldier.

 

As an elf player I totally agree with this. Elf is a weak class as it is, and since it doesn't do enough damage against heavy classes, it should be much more agile, but it isn't, leaving it weak to classes such as ninja who are way more agile than elf. Honestly, I flew half way across the map alot to cap as an elf, but a lot of the times, there was a ninja/soldier to stop me before I capped. I think elf is balanced as it was and I'm okay with the change suggested, but the current state of elf is a mess.
