A Guide to MC-WAR Zombies

    This is just a few helpful tips and tricks to zombies.
    1. DO NOT GET KILLED!
    By all means, if you can keep yourself from getting infected, do it. Zombie is hard.

    2. Closest to Farthest:
    First, go to the closest person to you. Usually, newer people with bad guns stay VERY close to zombie spawn (because they don't understand the map). The person closest to you should be an easy target.

    3. Alleys and Valleys:

    Find any place that is narrow. The smaller the width the better. Don't be afraid of getting shot because only 1 person can shoot at a time. Most of the older players will either read this thread or already know this, so they don't usually get. Also, the newer people jump in front of everyone trying to get kills. After the first, all the rest just flow and are easy kills.

    4. Spawn Killing:
    Many players (including myself) spawn kill zombies. If you can, get behind them. Usually, no one covers entrances, so just back stab them. Juggernaut is a good perk for this.

    5. Enemy Spawn:
    As fast as possible, get to human spawn. Some players (sometimes myself) freeze on spawn because they have optifine. These players are harmless. They cannot shoot, so as quickly as possible, get to the human spawn and kill them. Usually, about 2-7 people have this problem.

    6. Knifer Noobs:
    Every now and then, you see one person just trying to stab a zombie. You know you've seen it. Dive directly into them. Screw the knife, it does nothing.

    7. Run and Gun:
    Now we are starting to get into the people who are harder to kill and a LOT more skilled. Run and gunners are extremely dangerous and hard to kill. Mainly, these people will have miniguns, M4A1s, or skull crushers, or any automatic (rarely snipers/shottys).
    If you see an M16, run them into a corner. Their weakness is the 3 shot. In between each burst, progress as close as you can, then strike on the reload.

    If you see a M4A1, run in a zig-zag pattern and kill them on reload. These guns run out of ammo very quickly and has a fair amount of reload.

    If you see an AK-47, they are pretty much the M4A1 except for higher power. Use the same tactic, but switch much faster.


    In the update, the famas will be VERY high powered. Use the same tactic as the M16, but approach with MAJOR caution. Use a grenade if you have one.

    If you see a lamentation (or however you spell it), it has a huge clip and a high ROF. Stay out a ways (10-20 blocks) and run side to side in front of them. On the reload, kill them.

    If you see a skull crusher, you're screwed. Almost no weakness. Do not engage.

    If you see a minigun, the ammo is VERY short. Usually, they will stay in a pack because they have scavenger and can get more ammo. Back them into a low populated area and run side to side. They run out of ammo quickly. Once their secondary is reloading, kill them.

    8. Sniper Campers:
    Most of these are semi-easy to kill if you know how to do it. Usually, they won't have many people around them.

    If you see a dragunov: dive right in. They will run out of ammo before they get a kill.

    If you see any other sniper: run in a zig-zag pattern. Most have a small clip, so after 5 shots, close in as fast as possible.

    9. Shawtys:

    You don't really have to worry about these unless you see a model. Each shot gun is plagued by a low rate of fire and a short range. Most will camp in a small corner, so launch a grenade and flush them out. If you are in a run and gun battle with a shotty, stay back about 10 blocks. Push them in a corner. Once they are in a corner, swerve back and forth repeatedly. On the reload: attack as fast as possible. They have a huge reload time.

    10. Special Weapons:
    Law: Low fire rate, horrible blast radius, and a bad reload. One hit from one of these and your dead. Swerve back and forth to get them low on ammo. Kill on the reload.

    Flamethrower: These don't really do much damage, but keep your distance. Stay near water if you can. Wait for it to run out of ammo.

    Crossbow: Swerve one way, wait for a shot, and close. These have a bad ROF. Take them on their first shot.

    Minigun: Swerve back and forth about 20 blocks out. They run out of ammo VERY quickly. Attack when their secondary is reloading.

    Ray Gun (Demolisher): This gun has a very low amount of ammo, but has a good blast radius. This one is tricky, take it out from behind or the sides if you can. Head on, you will lose every time. Use stealth tactics.

    Stay away from the alleys! One person can hold down the fort indefinitely. Use grenades or c4 in this situation.
    Actually, when I sword a zombie. (I have only done this a few times) It has always been a one hit kill. Always. I have been one-shotted many times by people with swords.
    It better not be! It is overpowered enough!
    Model: if in a tunnel/corner, do not engage.
    Ray Gun: Virtually no weakness. It is a one hit kill, fast pace, infinite range, no scope sniper with an 8 shot clip size and fast re-load. This combined with python is virtually unstoppable. C4 is your only hope. If you do not have c4, do not engage!

    Or throw two flashbangs and then spam a bunch or grenades.

    Flashbangs will bring down pretty much any camper. You can't shoot a zombie when you can't see him.

    Well, if they're smart, they'll just spam their raygun at the entrance when they get flash banged. It's what I do with a skullcrusher when I get flash banged.

    And also, the flamethrower doesn't have a reload xD
