Congratulations CTFers! You have been selected for mage training at the elite CTF Mage school. Today, and for the days that you train on mage here, i will be your instructor. So let us get started on the basics of mage and its vocabulary:

Spell spam: This term is for (in my opinion) using the damage spell more than 7 times in a row, so it means using this spell and only this spell to kill your enemies. Keep in mind that you will be called out for this in matches so watch your damage!

The 5 finger rule: This is a rule that I made up myself. This rule helps you keep the use of your damage spell in check, if you can't control yourself. The rule is that you should try to use the spell atm 5 times in a row.

Ok! Now we are done with the vocabulary, lets get on with some starter tactics and spell combos:

    Tactics:

Hoes to the right, players to the left (and vice versa): This is a good tactic/technique that you can use if someone is hitting you at an angle, from which ever side, aim your hoe slightly to the left of right of the player depending on the direction.

Freezer: This is a very fun tactic to use if you are going to hit and run (used in flag rooms) This tactic is just to freeze the key enemy defensive player who posses a real threat to you or your teammates. You can freeze the player and let yourself or your teammate steal the flag. (Its been proven and works)

Lighting rod: Are you being surrounded or chased by a massive enemy mob? Don't need to fear, the lighting spell is here! This spell is very effective as much as the freeze spell for fighting mobs and hit and run maneuvers. It also gives a gift of 3 hearts of damage as well as knock back to your enemies. (Also a very effective spell to identify hackers ;D) If you are being chased, all you need to do is to reverse your direction of travel towards your enemies, and point the stone hoe downwards, and then release it, it will send everyone flying in different directions. Its proven and safe to use, and also good for killing those sneaky little ninjas and assassins.

    Now for some combos!

    Combos:

Zeus in Mage: This combo is an effective combo in the area of damage. All you need to do is to freeze your enemy, and after they are inside the ice cube, immediately lightning them, and after they come out use your fire spell and then use some of the damage, and alternate to kill the enemy.

The Rollercoaster: This combo is a very damage-dealing combo, as the enemy flies in the air and lands taking in damage. All you need to do is to freeze your enemy, crouch down and walk towards them, and as soon as they come out, use the lighting making sure you aim for the middle of the feet and the block that they are standing on, and they go flying.

God's Wrath: This is the final combo that I have for you guys today. Basically you use your damage, lightning, flame, and them run up to them and bash them with your hoe and spell. This is very effective in annoying your enemies.

P.S. make sure you right click and left click at the same time for maximum damage.

Thats all for today students! Get out there and show the power of Mage!

Didn't you just post this? Or is it different.

From what I can see this is a duplicate thread of the earlier posted mage guide.
Locked, duplicate thread. PM me for further questions and concerns.
