    It has come to my attention that sponge jumping has been fixed, and sponges can push directionally as well. If I'm right, his fix can be exploited to allow crossing chunks of the map in seconds.

    The sponges work in such a way that the stacking and shape of set sponge blocks will determine the direction and length of the jump. For instance, stacking 2 sponges gives you a higher jump than one sponge, and putting a sponge to the left of two stacked sponges will push you to one side.

    My thought is that a 'launch pad' of sponge jumps can be created that can catapult you in different directions. If the sponges work additively (which I think is the case) then this launch pad might be able to fling players thousands of blocks. (You might die from fall damage, though, so be careful.)

    I have a very busy 3 weeks coming up, can someone try to see if this would work? If so, then we would be able to move around the map very quickly and need only a handful of warps on the map.
