Idea Ninja - Minor Change [Idea]

    I, being a guy who hates having a finite amount of items and also hates Ninja Egg spam, propose that Ninja should spawn with two-four eggs instead of ten. However if you kill someone you gain your two-four eggs, capping at two-four eggs total. This would let Ninja's be able to spam less eggs but would let Ninja's that are good be able to regain these eggs by simply killing a person. Thoughts?

    I've already made good Ninja's. Can you please specify were I said good Ninja's spammed?

    @sportyman56: You can't really snowball, seeing how you'll always cap at 2 eggs, but should I change it to 1 egg or make it 2 eggs with a cooldown?

    Never said that you said good ninjas eggspam, I'm saying good ninjas don't do so, and eggs are quite useful to good ones, and limiting them would be bad.

    I more or less only need 2 eggs to take down an enemy. Should I bring the number up to 3/4?

    I think a little cooldown between bomb throws would be a better fix to eggspam than to decrease the amount of eggs the ninja spawns with. Maybe .5 or 1 second delay between eggs?

    Should eggs still be replenished when you kill someone?

    @sportyman56 : I believe that would a tad too much right?

    I think there is no problem here because the nausea doesn't last very long at all. There should be no change

    I'm not a great ninja, and neither is most of everyone ever. Some people tend to use a good amount of eggs--not necessarily eggspam, but like an occasional bang-bang of two eggs every few seconds--to help get the kill. Two burst-fires with four eggs seems quite decent.

    @SpiffingOtter I don't really understand, you say good ninjas don't eggspam, implying that a limit wouldn't affect them much, but then you say that good ninjas need a larger amount of eggs because they're useful... ? :confused:

    My apologies for being contradictory, should have explained what I meant further.

    At least in my experience, good ninjas, when recovering, use their eggs to knock the flag carrier back and (against a Soldier) off a building or tree (i.e. Canadian Fort, my best example.) And if you limited them, it'd prevent them from possibly getting the knockback needed to get a hit in and kill them. The only reason I say it wouldn't limit them too much is because of certain maps. my b on that 1 xD

    You're right but I hate having a finite amount of items, especially in a game were you can remain alive for a long time.

    @pookeythekid: Thanks for liking the idea!

    @SpiffingOtter : You have a good point, but don't you think Ninja should have a way to regain eggs apart from respawning and Medics?

    Then i Will have no eggs left, when i run towards their flag i like to tryna do the longshots and practise pearling with them

    Ye they should still be able to regen from medics.

    Anyone remember Castle Wars with insta-heal medics and Ninja Tower Defense cannons? Yeah, fun times... xD (but yeah that can't happen anymore so medic regen is still okay)
