How to Actually Make Balanced AP Mines

    This should be true for the claymore mine since it is a one hit kill. You did say that claymores were the ones that would require "some strategical thinking." Since the "Bouncing Bettie" already gives you a chance to escape and it won't one-shot you, they would need to be less noticeable than a flower pot. If not, this mine would be near completely ineffective (unless combined with flashbangs or an EMP) and no one would buy them. Also, would the Bouncing Betties make a sound when it shot up in front of you?

    The point of claymores are for holding chokepoints, and hiding them around corners.
    Not a "place in the middle of the road and get free kills because it's invisible."

    The claymore is visible, the Anti Tank and Bouncing betty triggers are invisible.

    Well Tac, I like how you made this balanced. I do agree that a lot of people post their ideas, and do not consider if it is 1) even possible, and 2) if it is balanced enough. Good post, have not seen one of these in a while. I also like how this is a discussion and not a server idea.

    I meant by this that Claymores should be visible.(Sorry if you misunderstood me)
    I was asking how visible the Bouncing Betties would be.
