Idea YANE (yet another Necro edit)

    Inspired by a previous Necro thread, I decided to flesh out an idea for Necro that I thought would be a lot of fun. I've bolded the important stuff if you don't feel like reading. The basis of the new class has moved away from controlling mobs, and more towards taking their characteristics. It is now an all-round class, though it focuses more on recovery and support, and potentially capping.

    The armor is the same; that is, full iron but with a gold chestplate.
    The hotbar consists of a Stone Sword, 3 Steak, 5 separate Mob Eggs, and the standard compass and class selector star. There are also 3 extra mob eggs inside the inventory that can be placed in the hotbar (or more/less depending on what is suggested).

    When a Mob Egg is right clicked, the Necro takes on the characteristics of that mob. There is no cooldown, they are all unlocked from the start and the Necro can return to the default spawn state by right clicking the egg again.

    There are 8 eggs, not necessarily in order.

    Chicken: slow falling, no fall damage, slowness 1
    Creeper: explodes, instakills Necro.
    Skeleton: sword turns into Archer bow (no headshots though)
    Spider: can climb walls, sword gives poison effect for 5 seconds
    Zombie: slowness 1, strength 1
    Ocelot: speed 1
    Blaze: sword gains fire aspect
    Witch: sword turns to wood, and the Necro creates a small, slow regeneration Area of Effect around itself. This affects everyone, including enemies and the Necro itself, and heals at the same rate as a sneaking Ninja.

    I like this concept because it's fun: you have great mobility and you can fulfill a number of varied roles. I also feel (largely) that it's balanced, though I'd be interested to hear what you guys think about it.

    This is really interesting. A Necro (In Blaze form) teamed with a Pyro in the flag room would be pretty awesome.
    Some questions I have:
    Chicken: "Slow falling". Does that mean if you jump off somewhere you fall at like 1/2 speed to the ground, or will you be gliding around (falling at a slower rate while moving)?
    Spider: Will there be a limit to how much you can wall climb? Will it be like Soldier where you can't wall climb on coal ore?
    Witch: What kind of healing is it? Like, getting a heart back per second, or like a regeneration potion?
    Creeper: I don't know about this. I think that it should insta-kill the Necro itself, but I don't know about flag carriers.
    I like the zombie, skeleton, ocelot, and blaze ideas.

    Chicken: Falling at half speed. Gliding around is a bit too much like flying which would make it pretty OP. Having said that, falling at half speed means you can cover twice the distance you would normally.
    Spider: No wall climb limit at the moment unless it's really necessary. Yes, coal ore/barriers would not be climbable.
    Witch: Same rate of healing as Ninja shifting.
    Creeper: The logic behind this is that explosions do practically 0 damage to full iron/diamond when blocking, but I suppose you could combo into it and take them by surprise. Edited.
