Idea Needed elf changes.

    Elf is a very weak class in need of a buff. Here are some proposals of buffs/changes that could be done to help elf.

    -make it immune to assassin's imstantkill. The assassin will still be able to kill the elf very quickly because of elf's weak armor and the assassin's iron sword. This will just give the elf time to react/fight back.
    -Give elf an extra steak. An elf's steaks go away very quickly, and adding an extra steak will give it some extra survivability.
    -Make elf's resistance from the water element last longer. It should last about 14 seconds or so because as of right now it isn't really worth the arrow to have that resistance. It should also give regen 1 to the elf for 5 seconds.
    -Give it an extra 2 arrows. An elf's arrows are spent very fast in a fight, especially since the wind element nerf. Giving it an extra 2 arrows will make it a more mobile and effective class.
    Elf bugs that need to be fixed:
    -The deflector shield only works about half of the time. Archer arrows go through it pretty often and the mage's damage spell is never deflected.

    As much as I hate assassins, this is not what elf needs. Elf doesn't need immunity from an instakill to prevent assassinations. It has a sword so it can already block them, and a good combo of wind+earth+sword can kill pretty much any assassin.
    This could work but I believe that instead of increasing elf's health pool, they should just buff it's defense. Prot. I is ridiculously weak for any class. Buff it to atleast Prot. II. Doesn't make sense to me that mage has better defense than elf when it relies completely on ranged attackes and has an infinite health pool. Elf needs prot II more than mage.
    I agree with this. Right now elf's water arrow is useful for very quick ins and outs of a flagroom, but not very useful for fights. It should also be able to very slightly heal the elf when used on a fully-drawn back shot. Increase the resistance time and add regen I for 3-5 seconds?
    Elf players don't understand that conserving their arrows is the best way to play the class. Elf doesn't need to gain any more arrows, but needs an efficient way to use and conserve it's arrows with a good mix of power and mobility. This balance was perfectly fine before the wind element nerf. Now you have to give up chunks of power at a time just for (limited) mobility. This throws off the balance for power/mobility. A simple solution to this is to remove the wind element nerf entirely and teaching yourself to use the least amount of arrows.

    1.The problem with the assassin's instant kill is that even if you block the iron sword will still do enough damage to kill you if you don't steak, and because of Brawl's awesome servers as soon as you switch to the steak you die.
    2.The reason why I chose a bigger health pool over more protection is because I didn't want assassins to become useless against elf. A bigger health pool will mean that the assassin's iron sword still does a lot of damage but the elf can survive longer.
    3/Good ide. I'll add it.
    4.Yes, I agree with this but since Brawl is deciding to be stubborn about this I came up with an alternate buff.

    I use elf when I want to laugh by reflecting snipes back to archers.

    This is pretty much elf's only real skill in ctf right now. It is pretty funny though lol.

    Also, the pure element should be fixed. You are supposed to get an instakill if you shoot 3 consecutive shots, but sometimes it doesn't work if the player steaks fast enough.
