    P.S.- Someone please explain to me;
    How do I get my map into rotation?
    How do I get judges to look at my map to put into rotation?
    How do I know if my map has been put into rotation?
    (If) my map ever gets into rotation, is there a way I can view the votes?

    Ehh, I'm going to go with a -1.

    This is because:
    • The terraform is scrappily done. It's not smooth, it's hard to look at and it's not as easy to climb.
    • Aesthetics in general - meh. Try adding more detail and different blocks on the structures. The trees are clumpy and unnatural.
    • It's pretty soldier OP, try making the trees shorter and more accessible. You should remove some too.
    • This map seems archer OP at some places, add structures/barricades/short trees.
    • Quite a tiny map... Ninjas could get across the map and back in no time.

    My main complaint is this seems very ninja, archer, and soldier op, plus the flag seems very easy to get and get away with. I think it looks nice and stuff like that.

    Dude you don't have to be so harsh it took me and my friends a long time and a lot of hard work on this map don't need to be a jerk about it. Atleast say something nice or encouraging.

    If you don't know about the flaws, then there is no way you can improve. I could say something nice or encouraging, but then you'd only feel too confident about the map and probably wouldn't change it.

    Instead of trashing someone completely or stroking his ego, how about constructive criticism. Be nice but do say whats wrong with the map.

    You can't close yourself off from criticism, especially on something that you publicly submitted.
    Be open to it, use it, and personally I agree with everything Minesheep said.
    This map has far too many Archer spots, it's size leaves it open to ninja capping all day long, and Soldiers would have a field day on those trees.

    Actually, I have been giving constructive critism. I actually gave pointers as to how he can improve. Yes, I have been trashing his map, but I don't think giving feedback on how to improve makes me a "jerk".

    This is an absolute completely awesome map and I would love to add it but I agree with andmulti, it would be easy for ninjas and there are a lot of places where soldiers can climb up to that other people can. (My idea) make the map bigger and less tall stuff, that way everyone's happy. This is not to insult you! May the force be with you!

    Ok guys,
    I'm sorry if I have been rude to any of you. I have taken into consideration what everyone has said and here are the ideas. We are moving the flag upstairs so ninjas and pretty much all classes don't have such an easy escape. We are removing all tall trees and making it more of like the tree system on the lower levels of kill creek, that way soldiers and archers wont have such a great time either. Thanks for the feedback!!

    I took all of your suggestions.
    Trees have been lowered and we changed the material from wool to actual leaves. I also placed small trees around the spawn area to create some natural cover for flag carriers and basically everyone from archers. I made it less soldier op by creating sponges and small stairs up to the trees. Also leaving holes in the ceiling throughout the pathway under the tree tops with sponges that make the top of the trees easily accessible. We moved the flag room to an upstairs room with much less entrances and exits but not very difficult to escape still. I also took away the big tree sytem that was over the bridge. That way there are no seriously archer op spots except on top of the bridge, which is hard to archer on due to the new trees in front of spawn and due to he walls of the bridge. Thank you guys for your input and let me know if you think I needs anymore changes!!

    Smooth is actually way to overused and not very natural. Although it should be somewhat smooth.

    I did not refer to the brush, but yes, it was overused, along with spheres.

    Yes, I completely understand what you mean. But before, it was quite a steep and rough terrain.
