Zombie Apocalypse Loadout...for New Players

Evil here with another hard hitting thread for new players.

The purpose of this thread: help new players analytically look at the weapons they carry and how they can help while playing infect.

With most of the guns you will want to be on the ground, far from zombie spawn, where you can defend your self. The closer to spawn you are the better the odds the zombies will get you. With the Ray, you will want to be up high as the blast radius of the pulse cannon will reduce each zomibe to a crisp.

Zombie Apocalypse
- Iso, Skully, Ray, of Dissassembler, shotguns, nunchucks, sharp sticks
- C4 (great if you are a zombie), nades or molotovs
- Your wits and tactics

The BOOM Stick! (Shotguns) - 2 shotguns to consider using are the Moddel 1887 & the Typhpoid. Both are close range weapons. You'll want to use your pistol for distance shots and if the zombies get close then you'll want to swing your Boom Stick around like a Boss.

The Moddel 1887 (The Terminators Shotgun)

The Skull Crusher - I have to be honest, I rarely use the Skully. The clustering of shots and lower damage are not ideal for my style of play. This is a great weapon for infect. Load up with some mags and nail the zombies when the come for you!

The Iso

Takes considerable skill and cajones...this is one of my fav guns to take out to infect. When everyone else is yelling out I'm taking Ray, ray, ray, ray....you can be the bada$$ and say I'm taking Iso. You'll earn everyone's respect. Slower firing, it's a zombie killing machine. It works best when you have an open space and you are on the ground. Hydro is a great map to use this weapon. This is a Pro's weapon, it takes nerves of steal, quick reflexes and a certain level of badass to wield a weapon that fires a few deadly shots with precision. Go Evil, when you take your Iso, this gun can be used every game.

The Dissassembler

Personally, this is my favorite weapon, I love the high rate of fire, large magazine size, damage, length of shot, and accuracy. It's the Skully on steroids. If you are on level gound, you can use your high rate of fire and damage to keep the zombies at bay. I could use this weapon every game.

Perks

C4: Explosions of awesomeness......place at a distance from yourself so that you have time to detonate or near your exit point. This can help you get away.



Molotovs-Ever find yourself surrounded by zomibes? Use some Molotovs to buy your self some time during reloading. I find if a sporradically pop off of a molotov or a nade while I anticipate my reload, it buys you time to move around and reload.



Nades - they can help you as switch between roloading. I find I use them when there a significant number of zombies trying to paw their way toward your position.

I guess I should have started with Nubs = Any player less than level 40 and a 2.5 kdr or less.
