Idea Very Small In-game Tutorial

Title says it all. The tutorial should tell people:

• You need to stand next to the banner to pick up the flag
• To take the flag back to your banner to capture the flag and score a point
• That you should never go into spawn with the flag, and that you'll die
• To do /class to see all the classes, and possibly give a tutorial for all the free classes
• Tell players to hit others as medic to heal them
• That on Friday, every class is available

Hopefully this'll teach new players how to actually play the game, as right now there's is literally no way of finding out how to find out how to play. Even if there is, I play often and have done for years and still don't know about it, so clearly it isn't working or very obvious. Also, telling new players that every class is available on Friday will encourage players to return on a Friday to play.

Also, now if you die some noob will be less likely to pick up the flag and walk right into spawn. Also, new players playing as medic might actually heal people!

I'm thinking the tutorial should be similar to the one that Hive has on one of the game modes (the game itself is crap, its where you run through some obstacle course, DeathRun or something like that).

 

It doesn't really help that the message telling new players not to go into spawn with the flag only shows when a new player walks into the flag either. I disagree, a title in front of their screen is definitely needed to stop this. I assume it wouldn't take hours upon hours to implement that.
