Censor the name: 'Mao'

I'm currently learning about Hitler, and next year I will be learning about communism and Losif Stalin and all.
I'm standing between "Block The Names!" And "Don't Block the Names!"
Because for whatever reason some dude tries to be a history teacher or prove facts with these people. I can agree with block the names, block history. But there are some cases where I think the names could be blocked. E.G.
Le German : Deutschland is the best country (These are examples please, don't criticize)
Le American : ermagerd, America is the best. Stupid nazi hitler.

OK, you're obviously a bit slow, but I'll try re-iterate everything so you understand it this time.

1. Just because someone killed people doesn't mean we should censor them. The "you suck _____, go back to killing _____ " template works for any mass murderer, we shouldn't censore them all.

2. Don't use that bull**** about the German people didn't know who Hitler was. Don't.

3. I'm not disputing how many people died, just the fact that the blame seems to rest 100% on Hitler's shoulders.

 

He never said I will start second WORLD WAR and kill 6 million jews because they aren't humans DDD. Did he, no? He didnt kill the most but he started it.

This is really pathetic. Actually learn stuff about history before doing this. Honestly some of history's "most evil" people just were really REALLY messed up mentally, and if they were born today they could have medical treatment and medicine for it. Just imagine someone with really bad anger issues as a supreme dictator.

How about going one step further and not censoring anything for quite literally the exact same reason?

Censorship of people's names and words in general because they did something bad or mean something 'dirty', and thus shouldn't be joked about just leans those names and words towards being more 'hurtful' when they are used.

Like seriously people. Instead of trying to stop people from being mean by changing how they act, why not pull off an infinitely easier feat and stop finding the stupidest things 'too offensive', because I can tell you now that it's much easier to put on armour than it is to tell someone to stop attacking you.

Except for all the people that died.

 

We might as censor bush or nixon or obama because under all of these presidents, innocent people died. Whether it be the oil wars, vietnam, or drone strikes in the middle east, innocent people died, so we should definitely censor these names as these people are murderers XD

The US had the material, but not the infantry. to take on Germany. Forget it.

 

Speaking as a Canadian, saying that the U.S. Had no personal aspect in the war is like saying 'nah man, pearl harbour's not a big deal'.
While yes, the U.S. wasn't as involved in the territorial aspect of the war, saying that they weren't involved personally at all is both excessively wrong and incredibly distasteful.

No amount of 'if' will change that either.

Nevermind bruh, no arguments here on that front, although 'who had more soldiers' is kind of irrelevant to the topic at hand anyways.

 

The reason why Mao is not censored is because i have never heard anybody on mc-war say mao zedong. Hitler is censored because he is kind of the icon of genocide and the cause of the most well known genocide in the world is not something brawl would want to be said on it's games. Not saying that Mao and Stalin are any better, but these rulers were simply horrible leaders that caused great harm to their own country. Hitler was a very capable leader who rebuilt Germany and then proceeded to kill 6 million Jews and start the most bloody war the world has ever seen. I don't think Mao and Stalin were necessary evil, they just commited evil crimes. Their communist ideology is not evil in nature(Stalin's 5 year plans and Mao's great leap forward sought to overall benefit Russia and China by industrializing though it ended up starving millions). Hitler's policies, however were downright evil and hateful and is a sensitive topic for not only Jews but for all people and should definitely stay censored.
