Resignation My Time Has Come...

Yes, this is actually happening. I can’t believe it either. I am resigning right now from my position as Junior Moderator from this great server. I really don’t know how to start this. I guess for starters, I just have trouble starting writings, so, this is this, the start…

From here, you will be reading through my reasons for why I am mainly resigning. I hope you stay for the whole thing ;).


School

School or my family isn’t a very big part of me resigning surprisingly. I could do just fine in school with me being in Brawl due to my good grades, and my family isn’t bothered with me sitting on the computer for a few hours per day. The grades help supposedly. Anyway, this may change as I get into high school due to my ridiculous amount of honors class, which means a ridiculous amount of homework every night. Yes, if you didn’t know, I am in 8th grade. I am 14 years old so I am not very well-versed in the job world and school isn’t consuming every minute of my day. I am not looking forward to this and hope to get on once in awhile.


Friends

Brawl friends and real life friends alike, I would like to keep in touch with everyone as much as I can. Long story short, I make friends very easily and love that I do. From this, I try to see everyone as much as I can. This means less Brawl time as a whole. I am getting to that point where my friends are everything, and they and family come first, before anything. On a better note, I have made so many great Brawl friends here . They are all amazing and I wish to keep in touch as much as possible. This resignation is more like an outro and a resignation, so this means almost no more Brawl for me. All of you guys are amazing. Keep up the great work.



Now, I’m going to say things that plain old have to do with Brawl. Some of the things contribute to my resignation, and some don’t.


The Server Itself

Back in the good old days, Mc-War used to have hundreds of players on. It was a dream come true to do well on server one to play back then. All of the legends of War were on server one, making sure that didn’t happened. But when it somehow did, you were really thought of as good. People looked up to you. If this happened often enough, you became thought of as one of the great players. Now, there just isn’t much substance to the server. It is the same thing every game just with a different gamemode, different guns, and sometimes different people. There have been so little updates to the gamemode that made Brawl big and actually a well known server. I have seen myself getting bored of War and some other gamemodes because of the lack of updates. It is sad that the senior game on Brawl and it’s best game has gotten so neglected with the silly ‘#soon’ thing that clearly did not make it anywhere. Years since #soon said War 2.0 was going to be out within the next few months and now it’s three years later? I was so hyped for the new update yet nothing ever came except changing to lobby to fit the holiday. This was a large part of why I am actually making this resignation.


Furthermore, since this is the last time I’m going to be able to say this, I loved Wild West. It was my favorite gamemode for the longest period of time. I was a sheriff. I got promoted at the very start of when it got out of Beta because I was a staff member and it was so fun always having the server packed with people. No matter when I got on, there was always people to fight at the rebel bases. The sheriff rank was so perfect for me because WW was overall better than War-Z and I didn’t need to spend hours getting my stuff back- I just respawned with it! I had it made.

Roke, don’t take this personally

After a considerable amount of time, more and more sheriffs were being accepted. I thought this was fine but there was just going to be less and less crime. My assumptions were true and by this point, it was hit or miss to find someone at a rebel base. This was alright, but I did not have as much fun as a sheriff as I used to, getting into a fun stand-off almost every time. It didn’t bother me, but it wasn’t the best. Now, fast forward about a month. After many seemingly useless talks with the sheriff moderator, my worst nightmare had come true for Wild West- there were countless sheriffs. There were over 25 sheriffs. This was arguably the worst thing to happen to Wild West. It was for me at least. At every single rebel base a sheriff went to, there was already another sheriff there. There was pretty much always a sheriff at the rebel base I was going to. This destroyed Wild West’s economy. Let alone sheriffs, criminals could not enjoy playing the game. Besides mining (which is literally the most boring thing to do in WW), drugs are the most efficient and enjoyable way to make money. This couldn’t happen now with the abundance of sheriffs. No one rather they be a criminal or sheriff could enjoy the game since there were too many sheriffs.


I was and am still very disappointed and sad because of this. I was getting somewhat bored of the same old war, trying to keep my hopes up that they might release an update to it sometime and fix the plethora of bugs and glitches rather found or not. Wild West was basically my last reason to play on Brawl. Since that became stale, there was nothing much to do for me. I played War once in awhile, but it didn’t entertain me as much as it used to. Brawl has died out for me, and I’m sure the same a lot of others who have left. That spark of enjoying something just has left me for this, and I am really sad now not having a good server to turn to when I get home from school or just want to get stress out by doing something fun in a game.

Brawl has been one of the best things that has happened for me in any sort of game in years. It has been an overall great server where I met so many great people that I never would have met otherwise. It is amazing to think that I met so many people here on this server that I connected with so well.

@PoixMine for being the first person I ever made friends with in-game after I came back from my year-long inactivity period.

@Compositions for having the name: ‘eeee’ and no one but staff members could say it because it triggered the chat filter for spam. Nah, jk. Remember that time where you took me and Poix around all of the War maps? That was such a great time.

@MrCowlick for being the very first person I talked to on TS3 and being so fun… And this.

@SkullcrusherLD for being such a great friend and for being such a great GSG owner. I remember when me, you, and Infini built the clan from the ground up for the second time. We started at 87 members and reached and destroyed our goal of 250 members and now we are at 500! Yay! Get us to 1,000 mate.

Thank you so much guys and girls for being such a great community. Although it was a bumpy ride to get here now after all these years and after all of the garbage EULA stuff, we made it! Looking back, there have been so many great moments like when Wild West came out and everything else.

Overall, I just can’t believe I’m leaving such a great community and server. It has been such a great time and I hope to see you guys from time to time. It’s been so long after just over three years. I have had so many great memories here. My time has come, so see you later! ;)
