Idea Elf Proposal Tweak

    So currently Elf is a very versatile class that requires a high skill cap to maneuver around, probably because it is a very fragile class that is simultaneously overloaded in items. Although the idea of Elf is completely revolved around bows (LOTR Reference) , it really could also revolve around the use of other projectiles other than bows, such as snowballs, eggs, etc. , as those types of projectiles still revolve upon skillshots.

    That being said, I have come up with some elf changes that could up elfs popularity and make it an easier to play class both for capping and defending.

    Changes
    Health

    -Elf has now 20 hearts with 2 less steak, unchanged armor and protection
    Advantages: It will give Elf more survivability in the flagroom, especially if defense is very dense

    Earth Element
    -Element is renamed to "Ice Element"
    -It shoots snowballs instead of arrows
    -Each snowball it provides a Slowness effect for 3 seconds, can be stacked up to Slowness II
    -Although uses snowballs, it uses 2 arrows
    Advantages: Easier to aim a snowball than a bow and doesn't take any time to hold back a snowball and charge it, will be more useful than the earth element when regards to chasing down flag carriers, especially if they are chemists or ninjas

    Water Element
    -Bow is now replaced with a lapis lazuli
    -Right click the lapis to remove fire from a 2x2 area
    - lapis has a cooldown of 15-20 seconds (Changeable)
    Advantages: It will be far easier to activate especially in a very dense flagroom, as no elf will be able to even manage to take out the fire by charging up their bow.


    Reason to change the class

    Elf is a very unique class of its sorts, as it relies on good bowskills yet simultaneously not even the best of archers or pvpers alike could manage to master this class yet (with the exception of a very very very small amount of players). Overall this could make elf a much more fun class to play and could possibly could be realised as a bigger threat to the enemy team.

    Elf's abilities don't need to be changed that much. The problem with elf is it's very low dps while having a very poor defense. Along with sacrificing power for mobility, Elf is always trying to find a balance between power, mobility, and defense.

    I don't like the idea of giving Elf 20 hearts but 2 less steak. Sure that's an extra 2 hearts but it doesn't really solve the problem with elf being as squishy and fragile as it is. An extra 2 hearts isn't going to help very much, especially against ninjas. My idea is that the armor gets buffed to Prot II so it can indure more hits while still being a fragile class. You can lost up to 3 steak by an engineer hitting you with their wooden sword if they have any pvp skill or just have OP ping.

    Earth element is fine as is imo. They're nerfing this to take 2 arrows which I think is a good idea. It'll (hopefully) reduce earth spamming while still being very useful to stopping escaping soldiers or elves. My only problem is that the earth element is mostly be used in support because the time it takes for you to aim and launch the earth element, the soldier is probably already climbing back up whatever you earthbounded him. So it's only really effective when defense is chasing them and they try to escape. Maybe give them a stun effect for 1-2 seconds after the earth was used, similar to a flash bomb where they can't use wind element or wallclimb.

    The water arrow needs a complete overhaul. It's next to useless other than pre-fight preparation and capping. My ideas for the water arrow are as followed:
    Offensively:
    1: When directly hit by a water arrow, that person receives slowness I for 5 seconds.
    2: When in water, the water arrow will do regular bow damage.
    3 (Maybe): When a Pyro is in frenzy mode, hitting him directly with a water arrow will extinguish him and give him weakness 1.

    Defensively:
    1: Gives resistance I for 15 seconds on a fully-charged shot to any team player in a 3x3 radius of the arrow.
    2: Gives regeneration I for 8 seconds on a fully charged shot only to the elf.
    3: Extinguishes any teammates on fire or fires on the ground.

    I'm not a fan of this. Although snowballs are easier to aim, this doesn't have the AoE that the earth element had, so you'd need to be more accurate. Sure, there's no bow pull-back time, but since it takes 2 arrows per snowball, you can't throw it willy-nilly. Also, slowness I isn't very useful, so you'd have to use 2 snowballs to get slowness II which'd make a small difference, using almost half elf's arrows. -1

    This idea definitely has potential. I usually end up doing more harm to myself than good when I use the water element, as it takes longer to pull back the bow. I think the 2x2 area should be increased to ~5x5, so its more effective, and the cooldown should be reduced to about 2 seconds. It'd elf a lot harder to kill if you're a pyro, and elf was originally made to counter pyro.

    Also, if this'd be useful, it needs to remove the fire from the elf if they've been set on fire. It wasn't specified, so I mentioned this just incase.

    tl;dr:
    Health - +1
    Ice Element - Useless
    Water Element - Needs a buff

    Love these two edits.
    For the water element, maybe just keep the bow how it is. But when it left clicks with the water element bow in hand, it distinguishes only itself (not the ground or teammates). The elf would also still be able to right click and shoot the water arrow to distinguish fire on the ground and other teammates.
    And I feel like resistance I for 8 seconds should be buffed... wasting an arrow for just the low resistance is hardly worth it.
