    CTF Map Submission

    Map Name: Rocky Falls
    Style: Waterfall with lots of rocks.

    I kinda wanted a similar gameplay to blackout (soldier/archer op and quite small) this would be a 5 cap map, there is a bit more cover than blackout which means it's less archer op however it is quite flat but the rocks may make it soldier op. The flag has 4 entrances, 1 from the roof and 3 from different sides, the flag is not headshottable. The spawn is located in the middle of the map meaning that spawns are next to each other. This is quite unique and I think a cool idea.

    I like the idea of the map, however I see some complications.
    • The lack of ground coverage means the map will be very engineer OP and it will be very easy to be hit off the edge by an arrow from an archer.
    • The map is smaller, but also less aesthetic in my opinion. With a smaller map, you have less area to worry about, so more time to focus on the little thing. I didn't see that in this video.
    • The two spawns right next to each other was a great idea, however, know that if you step on the enemy teams spawn platform you will be killed. This could add problems to newer players and also creates an obstacle that people have to move around in order to attempt to capture the flag.
    • I didn't see inside the actual flagroom so I can't judge that, but if I had to guess id say it was that little building in the corner of the map. If it is, it's very enclosed and small, so very easy to defend. There isn't anything particularly wrong with this, but a more open flagroomcreates shorter games and less frustration.
    All in all, I feel as though the concept was something new and exciting, but the execution needed a little more work. I'm excited to see what you'll do next though!

    I agree that it doesn't look very nice, I built this around a year ago and I didn't feel like revamping aesthetics.

    Spawn, for me, took way too long to find xD also the theme is not that pleasing. The flag room feels very tight and the overall map is flat. The map is also mirrored, which annoys me a lot. Overall -1 I don't think this map should be in rotation.

    I honestly really like this map. I think you spend a great deal of time working on the details of the map and I think that pays off. I would really like to see this in the rotation.
