    Hello Brawlers,

    In the poll of the last event you decided that Wild West should come next, so we are here with the third event of the Brawl Summer!

    This time we will have multiple small events revolving around cartels: Just as usual in the Wild West you will have to take them over, but the cartels will now be defended by Sheriffs and you will have to compete against other teams. The defending Sheriffs will be teleported and once everything is set up in the cartel we will announce where we are. This will be repeated a few times with different cartels, so you have another chance if your team didn't win during the first round!

    Now onto the prices:
    There will be valuable loot in chests inside the cartel including armor and guns.
    The first team to take over the cartel we are defending will receive 3 premium horses of their choice. The team owners will be messaged on the forums after the event to determine the details.

    Where? wildwest.brawl.com
    How do I participate? Use your compass to find the cartel we
    announced in chat and try to take it over together with your team.
    You need to bring your own gear.

    Community vs staff all the staff members join one server and fight against the war community.
    It does not really matter what kind of event it is, just give us an event so we can say that the staff at least didn't ignore us completly like last year...

    The community voted for this Wild West event and we are in no way trying to "piss off" anyone. The simple issue with War is that there are no Developers who are familiar with the code and since War is a running system any event would need coding.
    Not to mention the bugs any change in the code would probably cause.

    Now I can't believe that I am actually going to do this now but I am going to explain to you in detail how you can create war events without changing any code :smile:
    But before that
    Sure thing, but if you don't even give us an option to vote for mc-war hm...

    Now how a mc-war event can work without real coding:
    Again you guys can just come on the server and play with us for once.
    You can do a "clan war" by simply white listing one server.
    Ofc 1v1 events are no problem too because of the white listing that does not need any coding.
    There are much more events you could bring to mc-war, as example FFA matches but putty sets the guns to idc famas. The winner gets a price, it does not need any coding because you already did stuff like this one year ago.
    Please don't try to tell me that mc-war events are not possible.

    Attending this event may or may not be a problem for me as I am starting my Iowa State Battery tests on Wednesday and it usually takes me around 4-5 days to complete. Whether I can attend this event or not depends on if I have to do the testing on Saturday.

    But anyway, this event sounds fun and I hope I can make it.

    Also - How is this going to work... To capture a cartel you have to be in the cartel alone for 2 minutes. I highly doubt that in an intense server event, a cartel will remain empty on enemy for 2 minutes, and if any enemy enters the cartel during capture, the capture is canceled. It will be nearly impossible.

    You only need to have more team members inside the cartel than any other team, you don't need to be alone. Since the cartels are neutral it will also only take 60 seconds to capture them.

    OK - When I said 'alone' I mean alone as a team - i.e. your the only team inside the cartel - Also, I am not sure, but do sheriffs have the capability of capturing a cartel? Or does it not work for them?
