    Couldn't tell all that much from the screenshots, but consider removing the glass panes on the ceiling (lag) and making the map brighter.

    Need to set the spawn of the map to inside of the map, can't get in. Looks way too small, dark and soldier op from the pics. -1

    There's so many buildings, outcrops, and cramped pathways all over the place this map should be renamed 'Engineer Madness' tbh. I'd strongly recommend making it significantly more open (mainly so most of the pathways can't be blocked off by Engineer turrets).

    Is this your first map? Not asking to sound like a sarcastic ass but it seems this map wasn't made with the intention of class balancing and abuse preventing. The first few maps I made were like that aswell. I have found many issues to the map I wanted to address.

    There's no flagroom? I looked around for nearly 10 mins trying to find it in spectator mode but I can't find it. If there is a flagroom, make it stick out a lot more. The flagroom locations should be one of the first things you notice in a map.
    The spawn is unreasonably small. Many abusive spots along with a tiny exit an engineer/necro/medic can block.
    Very cramped.
    No restriction blocks that I can find.
    Cave walls and ceiling are ugly with the sphere brush. try to smoothen it. They can also be abused by ninja, soldier, and elf.
    World name not set to map name.
    Way too dark. Fill the floor with hidden lighting with carpets or behind blocks.
    Random grass blocks where mycelium/clay should be.
    No dictation of which side you're on.
    Very flat for engineers/mages/chemists to conquer on except at mid.
    Not sure if you're allowed to use banners as decortation in a ctf map but I may be wrong.
    Lots of unneeded clutter.
    Genereally mage/engineer op.

    Tbh the only thing I like about this map is how the buildings and mushrooms look and the fact that ghosting is impossible here.
    The idea is alright but the execution could be improved by a long mile.

    yea... this was my first map and i just wanted to see how it turned out. i dont really play ctf so i didnt know what to work of so i understand everyone.... mby i should just stick to building something else .-.

    Personally I think the map is pretty cool ^^ I know how ambitious it can be to create a map that's entirely underground and I think it's really cool to see that in your first map. You also expressed some impressive detailing, atmosphere building and terrain. It may not be perfectly fitted for gameplay, but I think this is an awesome start. Looking forward to your next maps :smile:

    You shouldn't take this as a bad experience and never try again, but instead try to take the criticism and see what you've done wrong. I'm sure your next map, if you follow what I've said, will be better. This is a great start.

    Same problems as what everyone else has said. Don't be disheartened by it though as the aesthetic doesn't look too bad at all. You mentioned in your post earlier that you don't really play ctf that much, so I'd suggest you play a few more games. If you know how gameplay works (the ins and outs of the classes) you'll be able to better balance your maps for the future. It's a good start, all you need is to try again with some additional ctf gameplay experience what you've learned from the constructive criticism on this thread :grinning:
