    [NEW] Turret

    • Deploys immediately
    • Disappears after 16 arrows
    • Cannot be replenished
    • Can be destroyed immediately by any pickaxe
    • If a turret is already deployed, placing another will destroy the first
    Engineer is now more PVP and support-orientated. The speed at which it can move around the field helps the Engineer to fight and even provides support when capturing flags, since the turret can be repeatedly placed behind the Engineer while he or she is being chased.
    The most important reason for this change, however, is that Engineers can no longer camp effectively.

    [NEW] Cake
    • Replenishes items, not health
    • Can be destroyed immediately by any pickaxe
    • If a turret is already deployed, placing another will destroy the first
    This buff increases the Engineer's support capabilities. It's often difficult to find a Medic to refill your items so the cake helps in this respect, especially for flag carriers and defenders.

    [OLD] Teleporter
    • Redstone Torch on Crafting Bench
    • Works both ways
    • Cannot be used by flag carriers
    • Players teleport instantly
    • 2 second cooldown
    • Cannot be headshot - has a reflective aura similar to Elf
    • If two turrets are already deployed, placing another will destroy the first
    Another support buff: Engineer is now better at moving players to and from the frontlines. The headshot protection exists because currently, any teleporter that can be headshot is an opportunity for Archers to killfarm. All other changes exist to make players less vulnerable when using the teleporters, with the exception of the design, which I've changed because you used to be able to trigger redstone with them and that was pretty cool.

    General Changes: restrictions no longer apply to Engineer. The original reason for restrictions was to stop flagrooms from being camped and spawns from being blocked. This rework combined with the proximity restrictions mean that an Engineer would no longer be able to do either. It's also less of a hassle for mapmakers.

    I have a feeling this'd be way too OP for capping. If an engineer is able to get out the flagroom, they can keep on running and placing down their turret to slow down the people on recovery. This would mean ninja and assassin would be almost useless recovering from an engineer doing this.

    However, I'd much rather see a slightly nerfed version of this in the game instead of what we have already. This'd be much less campy.

    Honestly this idea is pretty op what they could do is add back the item replenish cake but for the turret they should nerf its hp and also should make it so ninjas dont get targeted by it while invisible, its just op that way

    This would really change engineer's campy gameplay into a more fast-paced, active one (for the better).
    But in all, this change would be more of a buff than anything (and atm I feel like engie needs a nerf...lol). I feel that letting cake regen items is a step too far. Maybe just increase the time length for its current regen? Because atm you run to a cake and regen any missing hearts and that's it. But if the regen time lasted longer, a teammate can purposely eat some before entering the enemy's base to effectively act like a resistance factor. And this would encourage more teamwork from an offensive engineer in capping.
    I like how pickaxes can instantly break the turret (maybe more offensive necros?) so that there won't be any more turret restriction blocks, but I feel like the time it takes for other classes to break the turret should definitely be reduced if this were the case. And there has to be a cool-down (long enough so that the engineer's turret can be broken and the engineer can be killed) on how often an engineer can replace/renew their turret (so that an engineer can't replace its turret just b4 some1's about to break it).
    And I love your teleporter changes.

    Edit: The teleporter can't act as an elf shield deflecting archer arrows back or else a flag-bearer could just camp there. But if players can instantly teleport between teleporters (w/ a 2 sec cool-down) then there shouldn't be much of a problem (and it isn't even that much of a problem now). An engineer could also just place their teleporter in a safer location.

    I have a feeling this would make Engineer even more campy than it used to be. First thing I thought of when I saw your teleporter idea is: Extreme killwhoring, combined with the abbility to escape with the teleporter. The restrictions need to stay in place in order for CTF to not fall into absolute engineer chaos, especially on freedays. The turret ideas seem nice, but would need some balancing.

    There are some good ideas, but I don't think this is the way to go. For one, as the cake replenishes items, it replenishes steak, which can be used to heal anyway. With this you're just making it able to restore a player fully with 2 slices.

    remove item regen, and give the cake like 10 seconds of regen 2 and it'll be decent, 11 shots for the turret, not 16.
    Give all structures a 2 second cooldown from being replaced or placed again (in terms of teleporter) and if this is the route that we want to take the engi give it some better health or armor.
