    It looks very nice, amazingly nice but I really don't think it suits CTFs gameplay style. It is very open on the top which makes it "op" for archer headshots and the chess pieces give a high advantage to soldiers on the map. The underground also seems very engineer based.
    The map does like pretty sweet though got to admit that good job.

    I would love to see this as an event map. The theme and execution was done in a way that it'd be great to play on every now and then. Due to the overall gameplay of the very tall chess pieces and openess making the top incredibly soldier and archer op, while the underground is very long and narrow making mage and engineer op would make this map a nuisance in a reaccuring official map.

    But again, this would be a great event map, but a bad official map.

    They got a good point.. but I think the ground needs more cover to be honest cause its gonna be pie for the archers to 1 shot the flag carrier maybe add a few like shelters over the spaces

    Though I can see that you did a lot of work on this map, and trust me it looks great, this map would not be too good for CTF. This is mainly because of those large open spaces, which give archer a huge advantage over any class, as well as soldiers, with all these huge buildings on the map. But I have to say, the building is very detailed and looks really nice.

    There's an entire underground tunnel system with staircases into them under every piece except the pawns and queens, I couldn't take pictures of them. You can go from flag to flag either on the board itself, where you would most likely get headshotted, or through the tunnel system, but the catch is that the underground system is indirect, meaning that you would have to find your way through it as if it were a maze.

    Also, I put sponges under every piece, so anyone can get on them. I think that should negate the soldiers, however archers are still a problem if you decide to stay above ground.

    As everyone has said though the underground is going to be very mage and engineer based because of the fact of it being tunnels, also if the map does get into rotation players would probably learn the path of the underground pretty quickly because of playing the map over and over.
