Crossbow Double Kill Glitch

Hmmmm... That's never happened to me, and I often use the crossbow. Add a screenshot for proof, then a staff member will believe you.

 

We know this bug already. It'll be fixed soon.

 

This happened to me twice. At first, I thought there was just a server glitch. Then it happened again, and I was fully aware of what had happened. The only thing that puzzles me, is the fact that spawn protection should prevent this correct? Or is that just another glitch? Either way, I hope this is fixed soon.

 

Yep, haapens to me, except I'm usually the one getting the double kill.

I think I know why (this is a theory not 100% fact).
If the cross bow arrow kills someone and the person who got hit re-spawns, it re-spawns them with the arrow in them and the arrow still explodes and the spawn protection hasn't gone off to the person, what I am saying is that the arrow blows up before the spawn protection buff comes on or its just a glitch, it can be prob be any way.

 

Does this mean spawn protection is disabled?

 

How it works:
Here's how I have seen it... As you know the crossbow can either stick to a player and explode or get a head shot on a player instantly killing them. If the player gets a head shot, the arrow follows them to their respawn where it explodes giving the player the kills on AFK players without resistance. That tells you why whenever you do get after life kills, it is the same person.

 

I believe crossbow should not have an explosion if the arrows hit a player and just insta-kill them. Perhaps it will only explode if it hits the ground.

 

That would make the crossbow weaker than a moddel

Pretty sure that the arrow dissapears after it explodes the first time but you might be right.

 

This glitch is possible by if the person dies by the arrow and spawns at the right time and frames, the arrow still explodes and kills the person before spawn protection works. Its somewhere deep in the coding which can happen.

 

It's what I though, because the bow is coded already in the game but with the server plugin it could create problems which would lead to bugs

 

Same, I love to do it. I just put on scavenger and shoot them like 3 times with limp shots. They die, yet they die again and every afk at their spawn dies.

 

ahh true the explosion kills all the afkers that is pretty much impossible now that afkers just get kicked after 5 minutes of not moving) ut if anyone at spawn respawns when they do they can die like that

 

False, also the moddel is a very good gun so even if it was a bit worse, i wouldnt be complaining.

 

Still possible, as long as the explosion comes in contact with them it moves them a little.
