Extreme Lag?

    CTF has always been 100+ ms for me but today it is now unplayable. The brawl lobby is so laggy i can't even check my ping and i had to connect with mcctf.com ip. In game i am getting 500+ ms and its really making me question if i am under a ddos attack... I don't think it could be my internet but the weird thing is that ctf and another server are my 2 favorite servers and these 2 servers are both extremely laggy for me, and unplayable. Another server i went on i had 60 ms, so i am really confused right now. Anyone one else super laggy not just in the brawl lobby but in ctf as well.

    As Daniellll said, the host I heard is having some problems, this isn't just ctf, raid has been terrible.

    how? my ms stays between 5-25 , rarely goes over 100 and has a chance to go over 1000, went to 1.5k ms two days ago for the first time):

    I normally get around 70-90- ping, and have rarely gotten over that (unless there's like a microwave on). I normally play at around 4:00-6:00 (PT), which has a little less people then normal. Sometimes, ping can be reduced when there are less players. So to answer your question, I'm not getting this problem. You should try to experiment with the different times which might help. Also, you should know there are three things that are associated with "lag". There is your ping which you can check by typing /ping. There is your connection which you can press tab and see how many "wifi" bars you have, and there is the actual server lag, which you can check by typing /lag. Normally, ping doesn't flucuate, and I'm not really sure why this ia happening to you. It might that the lag is because your connection is bad, or because there is simply server lag.

    Apparently people in australia get 300-900ms and thats true for me I have rarely gotten 19ms
