Thanks for neglecting to take the time to even properly read my post. As you can see here, I clearly state that "Russians only started doping come the end of the glorious USSR." What Russia is doing in 2016 has nothing to do with what the USSR has done and accomplished in the past.

They have a history of state sponsored doping.

Even though during its existence, the USSR has only had 1 doping incident while the United States of America had been found guilty of 5 doping incidents during the existence of the USSR. Your statement is unfounded and nonsense. As the evidence stands now regarding doping incidents during the existence of the USSR, the United States has found more use in doping than the USSR had.

According to the New York Times, the Russians started doping as a part East Germany which saw medal counts increase during those years.

This continued to this day with 271 para Olympic Russian athletes being disqualified this year due to the wide spread "State Sponsored program" and they are not allowed to compete in this years olymplics.

Furthermore, the IOC was looking into banning the entire Russian Olympic team but felt the death penalty for the para Olympic athletes sent a strong message.

The Russian government agency that provided the drugs was also the group testing them. This made it difficult to catch the state sponsored program until whistleblowers began leaking information.

I agree the US has users but there has been no evidence linking it to a state sponsored program.

    I rest my case.

@Lord_Roke lock this thread, it's drifted way, way, way off topic.
