NCP causes tonnes of glitch backs whenever you move in a way it deems SLIGHTLY unlegit. Except it seems to think nearly any movement is unlegit. PvPing on snow is impossible with it, it keeps glitching you in the snow. Also if you made your own version of NCP, send it to Putty, if its better than BrawlBot he might even offer you a job

 

It's not my own version of NCP. It's made from scratch.

And I really don't feel like working here because of my past history.

This. Even though I've had my moments with @FindingMemo, he would've been a great mod.

Putty I guess what we're trying to say is there are fewer and fewer perfect applicants from WarZ so you gotta be prepared to compromise. People like say... Kurma or Sn4x5 or Skruni. Not the most mature players in all of Brawl but I'm pretty sure they'd get the job done. I think a good idea would be for Wario and/or Cuddled to just make recommendations on who should be moderator based on what they see in-game; barely anyone wants to apply anymore, they think they'll just get denied, and they do.

 

Also by not demoting staff for bs reasons.

I'm pretty sure by staff giving out recommendations to other people (mostly their friends) would be bias?

The requirements needed for being staff are tremendous and it's pretty stupid. I understand why, but like FindingMemo said, "barely anyone wants to apply anymore, they think they'll just get denied, and they do". Even though someone doesn't meet one requirement, it doesn't mean they won't be a good mod. All we need is someone who actively plays the game and actively checks and is on the lookout for catching and banning hackers.

It's hilarious how Teamspeak is a requirement for staff, but if you message a staff member, 85% of them don't respond.

 

Exactly. Most of the staff are afk or "[Busy]." As of right now there are 6 staff on teamspeak. 1 admin, 1 developer, 1 mod, and 3 jmods. Also most of the staff are in the "Staff only channels" or in a private channel. @nezzer and @rocktomb34 were like the only mods, (most of the time) in public channels.

Edit: 2 of the jmods that are on are bots.

I would gladly help with being mod, believe it or not i hate hackers like even if they were my friends i don't care i would ban them and i could easily find out they're alting, i'm also learning how to code so yeah maybe i can be a good moderator, i'm mature when i want to be like seriously i just act like this because of carter and gummy lol. @chickenputty
@FindingMemo will also be a good moderator because he's mature and he has a different timezone which will help the warz community a lot.

 

If Wario or Cuddled wanna make their friends WarZ mods then as long as they at least try to do the job right, I support it. It's ironic, I remember back in 2014 complaining about Team Holy because we felt certain people only got mod b/c they were friends with the staff team and the entire WarZ staff team was all team with each other. Nowadays I'd love to be able to use the phrase "entire WarZ staff team", because it's basically just Wario and Cuddled.

Thanks comrade. My advice to you: try be helpful in chat, keep that activity up, try be mature in chat, and apply! You have no history of hacking or DDoSing, and you're a nice guy; you're a great candidate.

 

Gotta love how this thread which is supposed to be an idea for new command "/alt" has descended into "who's a better candidate for mod?"

On another note, I agree with what you said but there are varying levels of toxicity so we just gotta pick the least toxic ones for mod.

 

I have never let caeolon on my team, caelon is friends with some of the people i hang out with but i engourage them to leave him because hes known for dosing and doxing, @DashedPoppy

@chickenputty look at my new idea, i think that could be implemeted into warz, i would gladly apply but people just dont like me because im in OF team, well im leader.
