Idea Engineers turrets and teleporters.

    I don't get why engineers pretty much have no restrictions on where they can and cant place their teleporters, since stuff like this happens. 2016-09-27_20.31.41.png No one could kill the engineers, even the archers couldn't since the engineers were some how half way into the ground. Barley any of us could get to our flag long enough to defend it, and people were defending the engineers, so we couldn't even kill the engineers when we had some what of an opening. Taking this screen shot was hard enough. Engineer's turrets and teleporters should have restrictions and limitations on where they can and can't be placed. If anyone has any ideas or disagreements, feel free to post them.

    There are restrictions to prevent them from placing them in the obviously op af spots, such as right 2 blocks outside the flagroom. That is a completely avoidable area.

    Completely avoidable area? The turret can easily shoot into blue's flagroom. The flagroom is not an "avoidable area."
    Yes there are restrictions to engineers and necros in most OP spots in maps. Most. Maps like this, platforms, tuscan city, ect. have major engineer issues that need to be fixed yet they haven't been. Hopefully they will be fixed in the next wave.

    There are already restrictions in place to prevent engineer setups in really overpowered places. With that said there have been some spots identified which probably should be restricted in the near future. Hopefully come the new map wave these will be implemented and will remove the overpowered spots

    I think engineer overall just deals too much damage... From a combination of the turret's arrow damage (and knockback) and the engineer's diamond pick (and its knockback I) and the strong regen from its cake AND the billion of players usually around the turret (all of which allowing the engineer to run laps around its setup/turret away from an enemy)
    ...makes it extremely difficult to destroy its setup (if you're not archer), resulting in countless futile deaths.

    Or is this just me? ;p

    Obviously by looking at the screen shot, you can see that those aren't exactly avoidable areas, defending was near impossible with the turrets and people being teleported in trying to kill us. Another problem is that a lot of people can be teleported in in such a short amount of time with just three engineers. Assassins, pyros, buffed heavies and ninjas being teleported in by three different engineer teleporters. Personally in my opinion the teleportation time should be increased to 5 seconds, but this is also just my opinion.

    I meant to convey the message that the engineer turrets are ALWAYS avoidable, you can just hide on the corner in blackout, other maps too etc, but yes I can agree there are major problems.
