    Multiple times today I was the only builder or there were only builders on. Around 60% of the time when I was on today.

    Brawl is a couple of years old right? And we still only have 30 staff members. That's a problem, it's ridiculous. I see 2 options here, we get more moderators by many ways. Like abolishing the JMod system, tell the community that we need staff, or lower the requirements and only base it on the applications. The other option is code a better anti-cheat. There is pros and cons on both sides, but the better anti-cheat option is most likely gonna make the in-game experience a lot more enjoyable.

    Also maybe change the time to wait to reapply to 2 weeks rather than a month.

    Brawl may be an old server, but its not exactly a huge server. Brawl has about 50 JMod+, and if you include staff members like the build team and the media team, that would exceed 65 staff, which is a decent amount for a server this size. Even though its old, staff members from older times will have resigned, so having a normal amount of staff for a small server is about right.
    Just "getting" more moderators is easier said than done. Abolishing the JMod system would be a bad idea, as there are some staff members who are JMod who are terrible at detecting hacks, yet still help out with things such as testing upcoming gamemodes and updates. Maybe allowing JMods to get promoted quicker would be nice, as its something I see complained about behind the scenes a bit, but it only took me 3 weeks so I don't think it'd make much of a difference.

    I don't see what telling the community that we need staff would do. If there's someone in the community that would be a good mod, we should handpick them rather than wait around for them to apply. Chances are, if they're a good applicant, they would've applied if they wanted to be promoted.

    Lowering the requirements could work (like removing stuff like the TS requirement, which isn't very important), but if we lower them too much then we could get bad staff like @Corporal_Pudding <3, which would be worse than having not enough staff. Only basing it on the applications would end up badly though - the last time someone did that on Brawl/McPvP was a few years ago, and the mod banned a player for nofall, even though they were using a HG kit which removed fall damage. It would just end up in hell.
    Just coding a better anti-cheat is easier said than done. If we could've done that, we would've by now.

    to be honest, I think this problem will be (mostly) fixed with the new promotions
