I'm getting banned soon....

It is 40 because it has to be some kind of number. Before getting 40 punishments you should stop mis-behaving, otherwise you showed that you can not follow the rules and will be banned.

 

A couple days ago I was muted for "spam" for asking where a player was twice (I also didnt get a warning)

Yeah, I mean honestly, it is not that hard! If you haven't learned by the 10th mute that you shouldn't say a death threat or be racist to other people, then there is no reason to complain. If you reach 40 mutes, you have had 120 warnings to stop. This rule is being put in effect, because of people like HankyPanky who just don't care about it.

 

To be honest, it would be a shame if you did get banned, there would no one else to fight that is actually challenging :\

You pay attention to chat wayy too much to get 40 mutes lmao i almost never look at it. I only notice it sometimes

Yes, I think your right about the command thing. Personally I'd ask for a very long mute to prevent being banned.

And yes your right about people watching chat too much. Reporting used to be able actually stopping hackers and rule breakers. Now there are people like Lekosa and Verlyn who specifically afk on flamy servers (KitBrawl) looking for anything they can get a report off, just for that $25. How do you think Lekosa got nearly 300 mutes last month. I mean you could say I was like this, since I usually appear in the prize lost for top reporter, but I report when I see an offence, I don't specifically afk servers for the reports.

 

There is an option for chat which is called commands only.
You can see the chat but it won't allow you to talk.

 

I think i've tried that and i still wasn't able to do commands :/ but i could be wrong I'm too lazy to check lol
