what's banable on ctf?

None of those are bannable, but the insult is mutable.

 

Do you honestly think any of that is banable? I have over 100 screenshots of people telling me to **** off, kill myself, etc. Many of them from well known ctfers. Expect the salt and get used to it. And spawn killing isn't any different from killing people at mid or at your flag. If you want to get rid of them kill them. The only thing that you'll get a ban for on ctf is obvious ff/speed/fly.

 

If someone is insulting you, do /chatreport (player) (reason), and the staff will take care of it shortly.

 

Targeting is not bannable, but if taken too far it can be considered harassment (obviously there would be other factors involved than just simple targetting). This usually applies to the competitive scene of CTF though involving a punishment . Spawn killing also is not punishable. The only things that *usually* are punishable are glitching, hacking, and violating chat rules.

Well I suggest that you get yourself acquainted with the community because I am sure that there are plenty of articles that are in this thread that can help explain your problems. And as for the spawnkilling part, don't take it at heart cause they don't know the game as well as you do just think it as that and if someone targets you, target them back, just don't do organized targeting against one person, that can result in team strikes. Main thing is to have fun, and after all the spawnkilling, targeting, flame wars, etc. its just a game, not your life. Don't obsess over too much of these things, because most of the people doing this things are random people who almost never come back.

Since he isn't on a CTF Team (that I'm aware of) I didn't see how that would affect him
