    CTF Map Submission

    Map Name: Final Frontier
    Style: A futuristic and simplistic Space Station map
    Creator(s): ItalianPenguin

    Note- There are barriers and glass pathways that are not visible/hard to see, I recommend viewing the map on Minecraft Build.

    There are also Silverfish Blocks to prevent Engineers and Necros hidden around the map (under most pathways).

    And there are wall inside and outside to protect against archers and mages.

    I think the map looks awesome. My only concern is that there are a lot of enclosed tight places. As a soldier main this could be very frustrating.

    Are players able to access outside the map? If so, surround the map with barriers, so that ninjas can't glitch out of the map with enderpearls.

    Players can access outside the map using sponges in certain rooms and walkways (usually 3-4 corner walkways have them).

    aa i absolutely love this! Tunnel-ey maps are generally pretty difficult to build but I think you did an awesome job. There are a couple gameplay issues but other than that I think it looks great and it'll be really interesting to play on. Also I really love what you did with the beacons--they add a super unique factor to the map

    Finally, a map that nerfs f***ing soldier.
    I love this. I love the concept, the way it's made, the blocks used, absolutely love it!
    I really hope this gets added, only concern is people glitching out of the map.

    Why do you think soldiers need nerfing? They've already nerfed there jump bar. I think soldier is the last class (other than necro of course) that needs nerfing.

    UPDATE

    I've removed the potion effects and ability to turn on and off the beacons because i've noticed these problems-
    • Even with full strength beacons, the range is too small for the map, and it goes out in different places.
    • Players can turn off the beacons, making it harder to tell where the flag rooms are.
    Thanks for the feedback everyone, and I will add the potion effects back if people want them.

    Soldier doesn't need a nerf, but we need map variety. A lot of the maps in rotation are pretty good for soldier, so having a map like this in rotation would be nice so that way it's not every other game that 2 soldiers camp with a medic and cling to a wall.

    The tube map concept has struggled a lot in the past. I really like the effort put into this. I'm not sure how to feedback on this, I really like the concept but am concerned with what happens with mazelike hallways. That's just the nature of this kind of map. Not sure how people would respond to this layout. I'm willing to give it a chance tbh, but be aware of backlash.
