    I thought a good idea would be to add /nick for more fun:smile:
    If your wondering how then you who is who, you can do /name (ign/nickname)

    I've suggested this as a purchasable cosmetic in the past, but my idea did not get much attention.
    I like the idea as well, but there would have to be so much more to it than just implementing the command /nick. What I mean by this is that the command could be abused and misused heavily without regulations and rules to go with it.

    I need /nick on kitbrawl xD. But I still don't think it should be allowed, how would it affect the ban system? What is people going to change their ign too? The limitations are endless, and easily people could change their ign to something offensive.

    Bans aren't given out by name. That was changed after 1.7 I believe. Now it is done through player ID, which cannot be changed with nicknames. I don't believe it would affect the banning system.

    On RAID, if you hover over a team name it gives tooltip info about that team - Like this image (couldn't get one of RAID as wasn't online when posting this)

    So if someone with a nick posts in chat, you can hover over their nickname to see their real name.
    There could also be a command like /realname [nickname] which shows their realname.
    Staff could also have the option to turn off nicknames (they always see realnames in chat, tags etc)

    Can't nickname with disrespectful names etc, anyone who bypasses this - Simple /chatreport when they talk in chat and they get temp-banned for 1h.
