Whenever I join a game late I don't get a compass/can't choose a kit

    This is a real pet peeve of mine and it happens more often than I'd like. A kit you can live without I guess but a compass is the most vital part of HG. Is there a way to change this?

    Are you joining a game that is in progress?

    EDIT: Read title carefully, it's an issue with the code. Since it's past the point where everyone chooses kits you can't choose a kit when you join late. Dunno what the deal with the compass is.

    Yep if you join a game that's in progress, you don't get a compass. sux :[
