This idea is slightly different than @TheAceOfSpades_ 's. That thread suggested that 1 credit be given for every 10 hearts healed, instead of every 10 players healed (I assume that's what @Rhoske meant by 'heals'). Similar but definitely not the same thing (in @TheAceOfSpades_ 's idea you'd get way more credits).

 

Definitely something to consider. The medic is already one of the most used classes (defence). I don't think that every 10 heals is good though. making 10 creds will take 100 heals, that's 1 recover. Sure interesting as the average medic would make about 5-15 creds per game from this idea.

 

What about 5 credits for a heal for the person holding the flag (obviously with a cooldown)

 

Make it so medic won't be able to get credits from allies that took fall damage, lit on fire, and suffocated (by mages freeze spell). So no exploits can be exploited.
Credits for medic is a good idea, not only it encourages players to play it, there will be little less archers. :3

 

So you're saying, they're not going to get any credits if they're team member / flag carrier is lit on fire, and about to get demolished?

There is really no point in "exploiting" for this idea as 1 cred for 10 heals is almost nothing. I would rather spend a game attempting to cap or recov for ~50 creds per game, rather than chasing spam healing people for 10-15 creds.

Really like your idea it would encourage medics to play the objective of the game.

 

No, I mean getting lit on fire by a fire block that a ally put down. idk if it's possible to code.

@ForgeOfPrimes , I understand, but I bet there is some nubs would probably figure that out. But idk, I haven't been with ctf for 4 years, oh wait I have. That wasn't supposed to be mean or anything btw, idk what I say at all, especially irl.
