No offense to MrDasky but roke was doing a fine job, Dasky isn't active in terms of team things. Rhoske is a good addition though.

I feel as though part of the problem is that we all want that transparency, which I understand, but then we expect authority and structure. Smods should know everything about their server and should be actively participating in their community (in my opinion!!!!!) But I feel like if they're focus on that, they shouldn't be focused on doing a mod's tasks. Just like how mods won't mute if a jmod is on the server, I don't think smods should ban if a mod is on the server. An smod should take that time to talk to the community, get ideas, input on updates, try to bring more people to the forums, get them more involved, etc. This is all my opinion (I know this isn't how it actually is) but I feel like that is a good step towards working at the transparency issue people have been bringing up.

Trust me, we do need to improve how the staff team work. The staff team is very hardworking and dedicated, and can help accomplish lots of stuff when it is possible (like, when Featherpaw and RyGuy worked their asses off finding maps for party while trying to persuade higher-ups to give party a map update). The issue internally, in my opinion, is that staff don't get these opportunities as much. They can simply suggest ideas like players can (of course, these ideas are more likely to be read and considered). However, it should be encouraged for staff members to attempt to come up with ideas for changes and updates, while considering what the community wants too. These issues aren't necessarily caused by individual staff members not being good, but rather the system itself not being as good as it could be.

@MrDasky hosted many build competitions, being both plot and world based, which is really nice, since there were never any other official short-timed plot based competitions on build. He also apparently listens in to the suggestions made for Build, and compiled a list, which might be implemented soon.

@Rhoske , though not an smod, did update build a lot, implementing stuff like the build showcases, builder of the month, and the new creative competitions, as well as many improvements in the build team.

I think minecraft build has a lot of work that's getting done, which is good C:
