    More bounty and rogue time for killing players with lower rank. Twice as much bounty 1 rank lower player. Killing players with higher rank will give more bounty. Also, rogue time 5 minutes more for killing 1 rank lower player and 1 minute less for killing 1 rank higher player, with minimum of 2 minutes. I think the compass should track dangerous players who attack and kill weaker people. Everybody can track the nearest so they might avoid them or hunt for them. Maybe not all, but some of my features might be introduced, these are might idea, but lowering reputation gain isn't bad. Just try not to get it as attacker's loss to avoid abuses which lower rank players might exploit.

    If you want to introduce NPC driver - look the end of this post. I'm just against an idea of instant travel. Battles could take hours, to the last set, then just protecting area from naked leftovers. Participants would be unable to loot during the fight as the same opponents are coming back again and again and again. Then you might lose a lot but gain just a few.

    I haven't come up with anything better yet, I just find the simplest solution: forbid alting. Alting is the worst mistake that administration won't deal with. This is a bug which hinders and prevents most part of the plan how to make the Wild West better. This is the main factor that discourages newbies from playing. That's why strong teams are unstoppable. Newbies hardly ever kill any of their members, but when they do, they're quickly crushed by their alts.

    The music didn't work without the proper resource pack, but toggling a music was coded into the server.

    If you mean travelling on railways in PvP zone, I'm for. Just make wagons travel between the speed of bandit horse and Indian horse and it could be fun, but I don't know it could go against the spirit of newbie friendliness, but newbies can learn not to travel there, however it might be taken differently.

    K, so no punishment, but very minimal or no reputation profit either.
    The stuff you respawn with will probably be buffed. Again, I want everyone walking around with at least a Le-Mat. For the first five levels, I'm thinking gear will be easy to buy once you unlock it. The pony should be respawnable with no cooldown imo. A better tutorial is definitely needed, and I like the idea of giving the link the first time a player joins.
    Advertising: I want a server that can retain before spending money on advertising.
    Staff: Always a benefit of course.
    Starter Kit: Better respawn gear + respawnable pony + cheap starting gear should solve cover for a starting kit.
    Roles: Like the different playstyles of guilds or are you talking about something else?
    Warps: Cart puller NPC is essentially this.
    Heads: That sounds a little too profitable. Killing should be mostly reputation based so people don't go after noobs for easy money.
    I like the idea of more rogue time for killing low ranking players.
    I'm not saying instant travel, just reduced travel. You wouldn't be warped all the way to the destination or anything. :v
    If we just forbid alting, how would we handle siblings playing together?

    Indian are supposed not to be rogue so we need to find a solution for this issue.

    The similar way as you've been dealing with hackers, these who fly, run too fast or use X-Ray: observation, evidence and ban. Siblings don't transfer all their money between each other, they don't find together in the same time, but one after another. Alting is recognized very easily as there's an active character and his "tools". More about parasitic alts I explained here. You may read the whole thread as well, I suppose reasonable arguments are on our side.

    Less reputation gain from killing lower level players than bandits or sheriffs?

    I think the idea with compass is the greatest one. I thought that sheriffs aren't supposed to kill innocent players... although it might be adviced for new players to play as bandits. Maybe 1-rank people unable to enter PvP zone, who will need to learn the world of Wild West before getting the next rank and finally fighting other players.

    Sheriffs still gain reputation for killing players. They can't "innocent" bandits, but indians are kos to them. I'm not sure that stopping level 1 players from pvping is what we should do. They won't have much to lose when low leveled and fighting is fun.

    Yeah, forget this.

    Let's see... killing newbies won't be discouraged as they seem to be the most gullible and carry the most drugs. We also don't want to make a feature exploited by "smurfs" i.e. experienced players in newbie rank taking advantage.

    They get the quarter of profit, they're associated with experienced players in the same guild. They get respawnable kit. Items are cheap that a few trees chopped would be enough. They are PvP-immune to sheriffs as non-rogue bandits. Music will pin them to the server.

    Some new ideas coming, completely different from what I mentioned before, but summing it up I came up with them:
    • Processing should be in range of the whole rebel base. If it's impossible to make a square, build a circle with the processor in the middle. Builders should create an impressive art, but also best hiding spots with some tunnels, where it could be safe moving on shift, including taking the highest spot for best shots, such as roofs used to be, but processing whole the time as long as being inside the rebel base.
    • Let's use wagons in mines they're fun and will quickly move us between areas, maybe to change the floors. Also higher chance for multiple ores. Make some other plugin that allows us to mine deeper than changing it into cobblestone.
    • Crafting weapon, armor, alcohol from gems and drugs. Getting experience for cheaper crafting or more products.
    • We need ideas for new buildings. So far provided railway stations and guild towns. There are some random locations now. Maybe a few towers and bunkers where tracked people might defend themselves and shoot their hunters from better spots. Wells to get clean water, to make alcohol from them and to remove thirst.
    • Some treasures which cannot be found by compass, which contain plenty ammount of money, processed drugs or gems. Maybe some maps which spawn as dropped somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
    • When somebody gets enough high reputation, they may become infamous which will make them KoS to everybody else (other infamous as well or not?), they'll be immune to be tracked, they'll get the best effects from alcohol or drug, they won't be able to join non-PvP zones, they'll have no bounty cap, and upon dying they'll get a huge reputation loss and will have to go back to the guild after spending a lot of time in jail.
    • Sheriffs will still be able to search for illegals and send to jail after inspecting gaining more reputation. Still unable to cuff as combat tagged.
    • Houses are permament, special locations for houses, maybe an island. Ability to sell houses to buy larger ones. House is sold automatically after long inactivity. They can cook food there as well as craft and maybe hiding spots from sheriffs with tunneling. Ability to put heads as trophies.
    • Horses run faster, jump higher and carry more objects when we ride them (lost upon death?)
    • Prisoners able to escape and sheriffs to stop them so the tunnel they made will be sealed and they have to try to escaoe again, it might cost reputation which will be re-gained if successful.
    • Closing gates to rebel bases and cartels, building ladders.
    • Team capturing a drug dealer might make other drug dealers sell for lower prices as the rest of money goes to the bank of team who captured the drug dealer, server will know the location of caprured drug dealer, they can revert to a previous state or capture themselves. Sheriffs cannot capture, but they can revert. You gain reputation by reverting at the cost of these who captured.
    Maybe could put a few more but I'm tired. I didn't even think if it was possible to implement them, so sorry, I just let my imagination go through.

    A recurring issue throughout this "map" is that the incredible lack of gear in circulation. Good gear, as of now, is only avidly used by players that are filthy rich. The main thing we need to focus on is inflating the economy until PvP becomes a regular occurrence. We need to encourage people to use the gear they obtain, and not let it sit in a horse for safekeeping. Adding things that encourage PvP next map, such as compasses, faster horses, etc. will be useless if there’s little to no gear circulating :v


    A few ideas of mine:


    KITS/FREE ITEMS

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

    New and improved starting kit!- Tier one pistol, tier one shotgun, tier one chestplate and helmet.

    /kit daily- Tier two pistol, tier one rifle, tier two shotgun, full tier one armor with tier two chestplate.

    /kit weekly- Tier three pistol, tier two rifle, tier three shotgun, full tier two armor with tier three chestplate.

    /kit monthly- Tier three weapons, tier three armor.


    Along with these default kits, rank kits(daily) should be incorporated to give incentive for players to play and rankup. For example, a rank six would be able to do /kit rank 6 and receive the items corresponding to the kit. When a player ranks up, they would immediately be able to get their rank kit regardless of the cooldown time on their previous rank kit. This would allow newer players to quickly obtain gear and inflate the economy, something that we desperately need to sustain the gear in circulation.


    Voting Crates- Already discussed


    Big Economy Nerf/Change (Again :v)

    Not talking about lowering the prices and making gear dirt cheap for the richer players. That being said, we also need to focus on making the game more fun. With the main method of making money sitting around in a base doing nothing, the game won’t be keeping many players. PvP makes the game fun. The money making process needs to be more laid back. Mining is too repetitive, killing Indians is too risky, cartels aren’t worth it, and processing drugs is boring.


    Looting: Increased rewards. Consistent amounts of tier three guns and armor. Occasional voting key. More chests added.


    Drug Processing: Put the NPC in the center and increase the radius to a point where it doesn’t go past the walls of the rebel base. Would allow players to roam around the base looting chests and alleviate the sense of boredom that players feel while processing. Only allowing one team to process in certain bases(wg/coco/poppy?)


    Indians: More rewards, less risk. Make Indians OSK. Nearly impossible for newer players to clean bases without dying. More chest rewards. Increase the size of the camps. More chests.


    Cartels: As suggested before, make one cartel which gives the team owning it 15-20% of profits from all drugs and ores sold.


    Train Robbing: Reduce the bounty given to conductor robbers, mainly because the amount of sheriffs is likely to exponentially increase. Decrease the time in between robs from 30 minutes to five.


    Horses: Make the starting horse respawnable :VVVV


    Team Caps

    Not really much explanation needed here :V. Currently, it’s pretty much one big team killing off the playerbase. Caps of eight?

    tl;dr the whole thread, so sorry if this suggestion is already there, but oh well.

    I always had an idea of drug processing being turned into something similar to cartels. You'd go to a base, capture it, then it would process drugs for you even if you leave the base. You'd have to return to the base to get the processed drugs, though.

    This would also mean only one team could process at the same time, making trucing to bypass team caps ineffective.

    Not sure if this can work, but I believe that the gun models are pretty boring and outdated. You can add some uniqueness to Wild West by adding 3d models. It would drastically increase the first impressions of a player once they join in. Also about joining in, it would make it way more cool if you entered Wild West through breaking out of jail, or some Npc helping you out of jail with a storyline. Adding a few features like animations here and there. (Imagine the gate of an rebel base opening slowly, would look really cool.) <--- Something like that. Also imagine fighting with 3d Carcanos, Tgs, Models, etc. It would make Wild West more unique compared to all of the other servers and help the player base stay more engaged in the game.

    Also, maybe make it so you can process drugs at the the type of drugs cartel but it takes longer to process?
