Communist chicken asks a question

Skype/Discord are critical for communication which is why every team uses them.

 

Using public in-game chat or PMs is useless and inefficient in communication.

 

How do you plan on communicating with 3 whitenames in WarZ using public chat against 3 guys using TS3/Discord?

 

That was just an example.

CTF wouldn't work as well either. Sure, there is the whole ability to request medic/heal/etc., but it doesn't work well, especially if people refuse to work or care.

 

Basically what everyone else said, it's virtually a necessity to have skype or discord. You need to be able to coordinate with the players on your team or you're going to get destroyed by every other team in a match right now. If you were to plan a team out of people in a similar situation, you'd just likely get beaten.

 

If you want, you can just listen to your teammates. Some people who don't have a microphones or don't wanna talk just listen through skype and type in chat. But not everybody wants to type in chat, so don't expect to find many like you. I'd highly doubt that a team of type-in-chatters would win let alone survive. If you're really worried, you could use a voice changer idk. Good luck kn finding a solution.

 

Basically what he said. There's no way a team can actually communicate in chat while doing a match. Typing "go in now" like for going into the opposite teams flag room, would waste time and a player would find you by then and kill you.

 

I believe most players that were committed to actually joining a team have ended up using skype/discord. Sorry :/ I'm sure a lot of players dont use skype/discord due to parents, though, so you can probably just ask around in game if you want to create a team with people like that. Given, it probably wont work very well or at all, but you can try.
