Only thing that concerns me about this is that, from my experience, Brawl staff members don't have a huge understanding on ghost clients. This is fine because I'll admit, catching ghost client users isn't easy and requires a good connection if there's no screenshare protocol. As long as the protocol takes into consideration some of the strategies that ghost clients use to hide themselves, it'll be fine.

It was easy for @ritzy and I. It takes time... that's the only problem.

If you stick with it long enough, more evidence will surface.

+1 why not screenshare if you have nothing to hide?

All I've got is some cringe fanfictions I wrote in middle school. If someone thinks I'm hacking they can spend a good half hour reading those because there's nothing there.

Don't know why people are still pushing this, it doesn't matter if more than half of the community agree to doing it. The owner won't add it because the hackers won't allow him to have a look at their PC.

If the mod thinks they are 100% hacking but the player is not as obvious as other hacks or it is a regular who plays a lot or someone makes up a reason that could be legitimate to an extent that is when the screenshare would be formed. If the player denies the screenshare then they can get banned as they did not take their chance to prove their innocence.

The reason people keep going at it is because people don't want all these false bans to continue and people using ghost clients to be screenshared and banned. They want ChickenPutty to get to the point of him finally allowing this to happen at some stage no matter what and if he says no to continue asking.

As goat said there are tools that are used @chickenputty to search for any hacked clients / ghost clients and what not. It doesn't go through any private files and all private information is kept away from the screenshare. All the player has to do is download files that are completely harmless to their computer run them and have the staff guide them on what to press and do so they can see if they have anything. A good example of this would be having them download one of the SS programs and when they open it they do not know what to press, your staff can tell them to go to "last activity" in the SS tool and tell them to Ctrl + F to search for "Vape" and find the last use for vape. Your staff should be trusted enough to do this seeing as your admin/SMod decided to trust them with the Mod rank on your servers anyway.

There are programs that allow you to share your screens with less lag than on skype too allowing for their computer to run smooth and be able to do this even with a very bad computer. The only downside I see for screenshares is it can be a waste of time and you have to make sure your staff know the correct way to do this which shouldn't be hard to teach as there are videos everywhere of people recording their own screenshares. The programs do most of the work you only have to tell the person being screenshare to click a few buttons and type a few words. If you are worried about staff members forgetting how to do this when screensharing, someone could create a step by step document for your staff members to follow and perform correctly every single time when they screenshare.

Edit because I saw about Daniell mentioning people having to download ts and join.me just because a person thinks they are hacking.

This is also why you have your staff better trained to spot hacks and ghost clients  If it is a hassle that is why the freeze is there the programs barely take up any space and are short time to do. They don't really have to download the programs seeing as they can always appeal too and hope their appeal is accepted. TS and Join.me could also be advertised around the server and I'm pretty sure other programs could also be used apart from TS if the player chooses so it really just leaves 1 program to download at that point.

Also if you wanted to know how to catch a Ghost clients aim assist they move their head in a U shape when aiming in different directions and their aim always has a set timer to reach their opponent which is pretty easy to spot when you watch close enough.
Their reach is pretty easy to spot if you just fight them. I've watch loads of videos on ghost clients because why not It was fun watching a person using one explaining it.

Here is an example of a guy using Aim assist:

This persons name is tempzide and was a regular on here until I told a few people to start exposing him the day he was banned.
If you watch the video closely you can see his aim is consistently trying to aim for the same spot on the body and nowhere else It is at the same constant speed when moving and looks really smooth too. You'd probs take a look at it and say "That is not aim assist" Slow down the video on the youtube settings and go to 1 minute and 30 seconds you'll see his aim is not on the player at a point and hits still register.

I'm going to tell the people who against it once. You can argue against the screen share protocol as much as you want but I am the only staff member along side Jayden who actually put it into practice and saw the results. It was actually insane how many huge x-rayers I caught and it honestly worked a treat.
