Idea EULA Friendly Rank Perk Ideas

    Since the new EULA and the more recent enforcement of the EULA, Ranks have been the primary source of income for brawl. Ranks at the moment aren't very worth it since they offer little perks, especially in CTF. Here are just some ideas I've had for perks that might entice people to buy ranks.

    Voting System
    This would allow people with premium ranks to vote for certain things in game. This could include but isn't limited to:
    -Voting to skip a map
    -Voting to reverse the time of day on the map
    -Voting to change the colors of the teams
    -Voting to add or remove time from the timer(This could allow people to extend an intense standoff or let them end their suffering sooner on annoying stalemates)
    -Voting to add server-wide buffs(speed or strength) to everyone

    Unlocking Classes
    Once per day(or week), anyone with a certain rank or higher can "unlock" a premium class for an entire match, making it available to everyone in the game. This could provide an easier to manage alternative to freeday.

    Pregame Perks
    -Players with premium rank are able to fly around the map before the round starts
    -Premium players can have their pets follow them around before the round starts
    -Premium players can have their particle effects on before the round starts

    Achievement Effects
    -When a premium player captures a flag or recovers one a firework sound effect is set off in the area the player is in
    -(able to be toggled) When a premium player achieves a killstreak it is announced in the event feed(where it normally says when a killstreak is ended, continuing to do so at 10, 15 and so on kills in a row

    Alert Noises
    /md, /h, and the like produce a noise that teammates within a few dozen blocks are able to hear(will be limited to avoid spam)

    I back everything here except for the bounty idea, that retracts from the objective imo.

    I like the ideas except for the bounty. As Miskey said, it takes away from the objective of the whole game. The class idea has been suggested before but was rejected.

    This is harmless enough and sounds pretty cool. +1

    Another neat idea but it might make things confusing if it happens often enough. Like 'class boosters' it would need some limits. +0

    I don't really like this idea as it wouldn't effect everyone equally and doesn't reflect everyone's opinions (as most people do not have a premium rank). Some people really like stalemates and some like really short games, but not everyone does. -1

    This might work but it would have to be highly limited as server-wide strength/speed buffs would make Chemist a lot less useful. +0


    I think unlocking classes or 'class boosters' (which is basically what this is) would be something people would be most likely to buy, as playing a class you or your friend(s) don't usually get to play is much more rewarding than cosmetics or a credit booster. The only change I'd suggest with this idea is allowing premium players to unlock a class more often than once a week and for longer than one match as some matches can be very quick and that would make this kind of purchase less valuable/'worth it' (perhaps tiers could be implemented? Different prices for unlocking a class for x amount of time). I'm also not sure if it's fair to limit class boosters to premium players only. Some people might want to take advantage of this purchase without having to spend extra on a rank. +0

    This could still be very distracting and (somewhat) pointless since quite a few people like to play with their music in the background (and game-play sounds turned down/off). -1

    I think bounties could work but unless they're oriented around killing flag carriers (or completing some other objective in a similar manner) it defeats the point of CTF since they would make the game more about random targeting for a bonus instead of doing x,y, and z to capture the flag. +0

    To make chemist better it could be 160% if there's server wide buffs whilst everyone else has 140%

    Unlocking classes is still game changing even though it only being for just a short time, probably against eula -1. Also -1 for bounty due to reasons given above^^. like the other ideas tho

    I do like the ideas aside from the bounty one (again for the reasons stated above). All the other ones would make ranks worth more than they are currently +1

    It's a global perk like boosters so it's not against the eula.
