    Love the traditional map style that so many classic CTF maps follow, but I do agree with @Nimz1e, this map looks dangerously open and Archers might take advantage. Other than that +1, beautiful map! :couchpotato::couchpotato::couchpotato::couchpotato:

    Seems hard to get back onto the middle part of you fall off (no visible sponges), also seems quite archer op. Other than that, great map.

    The structures look really big from the screenshots. I'll go double check it online, but I'm afraid it might end up with some of my Willow-Pass-giant-structure-issues. Brb checking.

    This really feels like a classic CTF map format, I really like how nice and simple something is, it even has the archer OP part! Thanks for making me get into CTF if this is accepted. (Like above add obstacles, like rocks in it like little rocks in the magma. :grinning:)

    Travel time from spawn to defensive flag room: 8 seconds
    From Spawn to opp flag: 22 sec
    From flag to flag: 22 sec
    Long end of medium travel time, should be fine I think.

    I'm a bit concerned about building height and archer cover.

    This sponge isn't high enough to reach the ledge 100% of the time when gamespeed is at 96%
    I'd add another one, safer to overshoot than undershoot

    I managed to get caught on the quartz ledge and both netherbrick ledges when trying to take this sponge. cleaning this somehow or making side guides would be great.

    Since it's only 4ish blocks of walking distance I'm not sure it's worth having this little elevated spot, might be better to flatten this path right here. I don't think it would do much in the way of altering gameplay with projectiles anyway.

    I think making tunnels or arches out of this existing rock area for people to run under could help with archer cover

    Edit: another thing
    since the lava isn't actually lava, could we make the middle "bridge" more accessible from the lava level? there are only a couple spots to get up from there and they're kind of parkour-y

    I also have this weird impulse to avoid the decorative lava even though I know it isn't lava lmao

    This map reminds me of a bunch of other maps smashed into one. I really like the concept, but the feel is both familiar and different enough to make it hard for me to judge.

    Hope some of those things are helpful. It has a beautiful look, as always.

    Maybe you don't play this type of map because you don't like the old maps (WHICH ARE MAINLY BETTER THEN THE NEWER ONES, MOST OF THE NEW MAPS ARE TRASH COMPARED TO THE OLD ONES. PEOPLE NEED TO GET THAT.) No offense but ctf is appose to be simple, as a CTF vet, I don't care about looks. I care about having fun and game play. It feels like people lost the feeling of that for the most part. Also who cares how tall the building is, some other old maps like the one with the bridges with the cars on it, that building was pretty high, and it took awhile to get to the flag, but that is called sneaking up and strategy. Also archer spots Kill Creek is all about the archers whatchu talking about Xelasi, also Blackout? I can list so many maps it's insane because old maps didn't care, that o one of our bazillion classes have a weak point O boo ho I call you a pansy if you care about this many things for a pixel game you know that? Don't take any offense this is my wall of "constructive criticism" for you guys just make the maps like the old ones, the you'll attract people k?

    You realize that like 8 of the new maps are mine and Galas, right? We try to help each other so that people don't react like this in the future to new maps.

    That is my feedback friend, I just want the CTF maps to change back to the old style, so why not strike at the heart?

    Also the part you quotation was my in my mind because the old maps were godly, they made me join CTF and stay in the brawl/MCPVP community, no offense why did they change the map style.

    In Xel's defense, CTF changed the map requirements, not the players. Changes to the classes required maps to be built differently than before.

    I'm really glad you enjoy the map, but no need to start an argument.

    I really like the map, Gala.

    I would like to see some sort of bridges from the "lava" to the pathways, and some more cover from Archers. I'll add more if I find anything.

    Love the lava/fire theme. You totally nailed it! Great terrain and cool structures.
    I saw you added some archer cover which is nice, but I think that a tunnel to switch from the left lava part to the right could improve it.
