    Hi Brawl,
    I've got a server update idea here. I came up with a couple idea's to maybe update the (regular) spawnbox (for ctf).

    First of all, the 'normal' spawnbox is quite old, even older than the class Elf. If you go to the 'classes and ranks' section/corner, you'll notice that they have signs with a description on every class except Elf. (And fashionista, but that doesn't count.) I thought, maybe just to update the spawnbox, Brawl could add a sign with a description on Elf. But if you make your OWN spawnbox, it's up to you if course. This idea is meant for the 'regular' spawnboxes, the generic ones.

    Second, maybe we could add a command that lets you go back to spawnbox before/after gameplay, in between games. Sometimes I jump out and walk around, and then suddenly realise: 'Oh wait! There was something I still wanted to read!' Like on who made the map/remake. On maps like Halo V or Platforms it's easy to go back to spawnbox by falling into the void, but on maps like Opposites Collide and Tanks, if you're on the map, it's tough to get to a place where you can quickly fall into the void. Long story short: it'd be nice if they had a command that could let you go back to spawnbox in between games. Maybe /spawnbox, idk.

    Anyways, these were my ideas to update spawnbox a little. Feedback/compliments/criticism is much apprectiated, and I'd like to hear back soon!

    The spawnbox wont be remade because a lot of maps have made their own custom designs.

    Going back to the spawnbox is not really needed either, most maps have signs with who made it at spawn or you can check it with /map.

    tbh, even though builders tend to reskin the spawnboxes to fit the theme of the map better, I think a new version and updated signs would be refreshing in a way.

    Is that why I caught you reading them yesterday?

    As Daniel said, some maps have custom spawnboxes made to either fit the theme or just be different. I see no problem with redoing the generic spawnbox, but I don't know how much it would be used since map makers can just make their own.

    I meant, they add the elf thing in the generic spawnbox. A CUSTOM spawnbox, put whatever the he££ you WANT in those :smile: My idea was meant for the generic one. I'll edit my thread.

    Ah. I see no harm in updating the generic spawnbox. It also says that you can buy classes on Brawl's website, which is wrong.

    if nothing else a spawnbox with more accurate information would definitely be useful. The command is a little unecessary, more of a want than a need.

    we should have a rectangle spawn that is made of entirely out of a glass and you have to drop down by going to a hole in a corner.

    Dang, you got me! It was all a prank to make you look like a noob!

    The main problem we have is that, in order to update the existing maps, we'd have to go through and change every single map manually.

    I agree. There are also some newer blocks since we're running 1.8, and I believe these spawnboxes were 1.6.
