I don't care if my procceser is an i5 or i7, and for level of gaming, I'm going to play minecraft and have shaders on for recording. For storage, I'm going to get 2TB probably. For HDDs/SSDs I would like 1 HDD, and 1 SSD. For price budget I don't really know. I'll decide on the price budget later.

I customized a computer that should fit what you do. I have the i7 in there for video editing, and I have a PSU costing more than it has to because it is modular. I know from personal experience that a non-modular PSU is a nightmare: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2hll9

Also, I built my computer and I get almost 200 FPS on mc-war without recording, and about 110-120 while recording.

How much do you think that computer will get? And by that, I mean frames per second.

Minecraft mostly runs on CPU, rather than graphics cards, so I'd say an i7 is a worthy investment.

Idk, the GPU I have for you is about twice as good as my brother's, which gets 80fps.
And about what blockalots said, I'll check CPU usage on my i7.

    This one, pls.

i7 3770k - this is a solid choice, it renders slightly faster than the i7 2600k which uses much more power. Good thing you chose ivy bridge because I heard Haswell can run a bit hot. Is he planning to overclock? You should probably switch it to a 3770, it may have slightly less speed but its cheaper if overclocking is not intended.

I'm no computer expert, but this build is pretty good. Everything is in an awesome budget for an i7 processor.
