    Based off and inspired by @SoCool21's and @Verlyn's Idea of instant ore proc for all ores, I decided to look into how mining could be balanaced and made far more enjoyable.

    So the point in verlyns and socools idea, is as I understand it removing the time when you just sit doing nothing (processing). What could be more booring than sitting in a nonpvp zone waiting for ores to proc?

    Before I start, if there is someone that wants to play around with processing times, I made this google sheet

You can change the input data (different type of boosts etc), and it will do the math.

    So, going back to socools and Verlyns idea, it still has a few problems. The inequality I presented in my last economy thread would still be pretty darn clear. Another thing would be that mining would become quite inflated, but this should be a question about balancing only.

    What do I suggest then?
    What I would basicly do is what socool and verlyn said and changing the amount of ores you get per mined ore. Instead of the 1 for normal, 2 for vip, 3 for mvp and 4 for elite we have now, I would prefer to see normals get 3, vips 4, mvps 5 and elites 6. To balance what this would be (a huge economy buff), ore prices would have to be reduced slightly. I would suggest cutting them into half.

    Ps, I would actually be in favor of keeping proccing times, but reducing them so they are almost meaningless. This is just a minor detail tho.

    Elites getting 6 ores per 1 block is a little over-kill I think. I would say that when you mine the ores they are already gems, just scratch processing.

    I did also say the prices should be cut in half. This would actually make it less overkill for elites than it is now. As you might have understood already, the whole point whit changing the ores per mine from 1, 2, 3 and 4 to 3, 4, 5 and 6 is to balance it.

    All it would do is decrease the time actually doing something and increase the processing time.

    The faster you get a full inventory, the less time you spend mining. That means you'll spend more time processing.

    It might have been a little unclear from my op, but the point was to remove processing times entirely, and then balance it like this. This would decrease the time doing nothing, balance it out and make it better in every way :V

    We're trying to give newer players reliable ways of making money. If we simply increase the ore yield whitenames get to two, it wouldn't provide anyone incentive to buy VIP. We have to increase/double yields for every rank in order to allow a buff to ore yields for whitenames and still leave incentive for them to buy ranks.
