    I noticed that there has been an overall increase in ctf's playerbase which is great, so I believe we need a better way of telling new players how the classes work.

    I propose that when a new player joins any ctf server for the first time, they get a title in front of them saying the whole "Welcome to CTF!" thing with a sub-title menu beneath that saying "Click on netherstar to select class."
    When they select a class, they will get an action-bar title that says, "You have selected (class)." instead of the message appearing in chat.
    When the round starts and the player selects a class that they have never played before, they will get another title in front of them displaying the class name and what it does.

    So let's say they selected Soldier for the first time. When they spawn as Soldier, they will receive a message in front of them saying:
    Title: Soldier
    Sub-Title: Right click blocks with your sword to climb them!

    If they choose Medic:
    Title: Medic
    Sub-Title: Heal teammates by hitting them with your sword!

    Archer:
    Title: Archer
    Sub-Title: Shoot players from 25 blocks away to instakill them!
    etc.
    These titles would not display again after you have seen them once. Each message would last around 5-8 seconds each. You can trigger the titles again by using /help (class)

    There would also be a message for countering certain classes you have died to. Classes like assassin and archer, for example.
    If you died to Assassin for the first time, you would get a title that would say: "Block with your sword to avoid being assassinated!"
    Died to Archer: "Being shot from 25 blocks will instakill you, avoid their arrows!"
    etc.

    These additions would make ctf much easier to understand to newcomers and help them get involved quicker and easier.

    This is such a great idea! I didn't even think about how confusing the classes might sound to new players. I agree with this completely

    A whole lot of information at once is quite overwhelming to new players.
    I would take it back a notch, as some players might look at the worse iron gear of the soldier compared to the heavy and not read what's on the screen. As well, I don't see a point in notifying them of how to avoid being instakilled as those messages now appear in chat. It would help the people who read, but otherwise it's just more knowledge to overwhelm them and make it seem like the game is confusing, which it somewhat already is.
    A major improvement to this would be a way of telling them how to capture a flag and the importance of recovering one. A tutorial may be nice but it would be hard to code.

    I do think this might be a little overwhelming for the general players especially with the noob players coming on. I think if you tone it down a bit I think this would give players more understanding and depth is might be a -1 in this department. I think this is very good you note you can get instantly killed by archers, (Elf's as well) it's a nice idea +1 there. I do think that it floods the chat and it's bad enough when a person captured the flag and the message coming as "Player have captured Blues flag" so it would help to have it smaller. I think Improvement in a game is just important as the kits so try to add this in GalaThundR. I really hope you can take my comment into suggestion but otherwise, i totally agree with you.
