Koth Recap/Drop Party 2pmEST Saturday

So last Saturday something pretty funny happened where I managed to join Aux with an alt and get some coords and free gear. In this thread I’m going to explain how I did it, it's not very hard if you are decent at PvP.

So I was playing Kit Brawl on an alt because I don't have many truces on it which means I can warm up quicker by fighting more people. I 1v1ed @NeClass and he invited me to join Aux. I accepted knowing that I may be able to get some warps and free stuff.

I joined and immediately he gave me a full protection 4 set and a good sword. For some reason, he also promoted me to manager giving me access to all of the teams warps (a grinder, an afk and a raided base). A few minutes after that @JayOG joined and NeClass gave him a set too. He went afk for a few seconds so I left the team and tried to crit him out. Unfortunately, he came back and I had to make a small kite. However, NeClass didn’t notice at all and for some reason invited me back.

This time though I wasn't manager but I had already set personal warps to the afk and grinder. I pretended I needed to go but I would be back in time for koth.

When I logged back on 15 minutes before the koth, I informed my team about Aux’s afk coords. Luckily, one of Meta’s members (ShadowSlayer) already had a warp very near by. He set a warp there and we tried to get a few kills (I was on my main at this time) , but they were all in p4 while I was only in iron so I died fairly quickly while NoHacks escaped.

I went back onto my alt and asked what had happened, pretending to have known nothing about the events which had just occurred. With 5 minutes to go until Koth I pretended that I needed to go for a bit so I logged out and went on to my main.

The Koth was fairly ok, although we capped within a fairly short period of time (30 minutes) whereas usually it'd take more than an hour. Originally meta/vanta was outnumbered as Mel0n, Aux and Legacy had all joined together to try and challenge for the cap. But we managed to outnumber them as we killed several of their players. Aux began trying to knock rather than cap now as they were low on numbers and didn't stand much of a chance against meta.

Aux mounted one final rush to knock however it allowed me to kill @DnaMooshroom, I pretended to panic which allowed Dna to get close enough for me to get a double debuff on them. Immediately, Dna tried running back to spawn but with slowness, I was hitting him all the way. I would always suggest bringing a bucket of milk and extra strength/speed/fire res so you can get rid of the debuffs. However, Dna didn't do this and by the time he got back to spawn his armour was low. Unable to get down the waterfall into the end, he tried running away but his boots broke and I ended up killing him with only using a row of soup.

Meta/Vanta all went back to the koth and we capped it. The best bit probably was when I logged back on with my alt. NeClass wanted the set back (still didn't realise I was on an alt) and I replied with no. I then further explained what happened to him, hopefully he won't go inviting everyone on Kit Brawl again.

We opened our keys and most people logged out. However, myself, NoHacks and a few others visited Aux’s grinder. We completely destroyed it (was fairly nice though). The rest of Meta/Vanta logged out but NoHacks and I decided to make a huge pit under the grinder and filled it with cacti. This hopefully would mean they would lose a set or 2 as they warped there, fell down and their items disappeared into the cacti. However it didn't work as well as it should have.

Luckily though, NoHacks was online when Compazz (an aux member warped to the grinder and fell), NoHacks was there and managed to finish Compazz up who was already very low from the long fall. Most of the armour fell into the cacti however NoHacks was able to pick up a Protection4 chestplate.

So this was basically what happened on the Saturday and is why I am doing a drop party next Saturday at 2pmEST.

I may start doing these every koth if people like them (writing a recap of what happened).

 

Ye, that's what made it harder to guess that I was an alt. I'm surprised NeClass didn't guess from my alts past name (pastbedtime).

 

Well ever since I have become active and joined Meta we've capped every koth without much of a challenge.

 

Your team has 3 spaces however, if you filled those up you would have a better chance. You also have truces with aux and Mel0n who could both go and recruit some good players. Then you'd stand a better chance, there isn't really an excuse considering you can do exactly what meta/vanta have done. Also today, me nohacks and Graff were all on for several hours doing stuff so we are relatively active.

I was critting you out all the way so I was also surprised you lasted that long. Also the Jens did take part pretty sure if his name was Jeenss or something.

 

Can't remember exactly f it was double but it was fairly complicated with a lot of pistons.
