    Pretty much what @GoToBed said. If this is a hardcore server, we should act like one. I think adding this would be perfect. All it means for more expierenced players is being more careful, which in honesty, most of us are already extremely careful. Again, players would have a grace period where their death messages would not be shown.

    someone should summarize for me being lazy to read :3 sounds interesting from skimming thru this tho because as of right now the only thing giving players pvp is koth. no pvp = no fun

    Basically when a player dies, depending on location or play time on the server, their coordinates of where they died would be displayed in chat.

    Please could this be added, would make it so there's more PvP. I also think it should state whether the player died in the Nether or Overworld.

    Maybe it would display a radius of a player's death
    eg: player died at 500, 500
    Chat message: Player died at x:450-550, z:450-550!

    I reckon that the co ords should only be displayed if the player is NOT in a faction base, theirs or another players

    Would be useless for spawn PvP.

    Please stop commenting on threads which you don't even know about. You don't even play raid so stop spamming the forums.

    Is there a way to show when you die in lava or something like that, as it only appears on my screen when players kill other players is there a way to change it so I can see other deaths too e.g mobs, lava, drowning, fall As I have been clumsy enough to run around with P4 on not really paying attention and just falling down a massive hole in the middle of no where and I have no way to get it back. I know I am pretty stupid for doing this but I can't be alone though?! Would appear as 'NoHacksJustCooki forgot to swim at X:9340 Z:2214' Or something like that.

    Really simple solution to that one - Have F3 display up all the time, or get a MOD that displays coordinates (5zig for example) - When you die, you can still see your coordinates displayed on the respawn screen. Note them down, then travel back.

    +1 I like the idea. It may backfire onto new players but thats their fault because they would have seen the msgs in chat.
