    I tried to quote a specific portion of this but I'm on mobile. Rip.

    About the whole staff portion of your thread; there are ways to be an effective and efficient staff member without being harsh. Don't take this as me bashing on Roke; he does a damned good job. But there is a public or community relations side to everything.

    When I was a staff member I could be pretty blunt. Even harsh. It's easier to cut to the chase instead of sugar coating every word. But that ruins your image. That forces you to say “I'm just doing my job." That forces other members to have to stand up for you, claiming you are just “Doing your job."

    And they're right. There's just a kinder was of going about it.

    I keep saying that to myself too. Of course there will be one day where no one plays Minecraft anymore (same with Pacman and Pong) but I'm hoping that will be in like 20 years. Let alone Brawl. But these days, it doesn't really feel dead or anything.

    True, but that first screenshot was from Brawl just had a ton of people come from McPvP, and it was also Brawl's primetime. We're slowly but surely gaining players, don't worry. There are about 400 people online when the US is awake. It's less popular in Europe now, but we ARE getting more and new players, but quite slowly.

    Brawl has a good amount of players in game for the current size of the community.

    Brawl has a really nice playerbase for the game modes and community it has. It's not the server that's dying, it's the game itself. As said, above by someone else, Minecraft is getting boring for kids, they have moved on to CSGO or some other game. Minecraft has been going good for a good 7 years but, it may be coming to a close. A lot of things that are also effecting this, is the EULA change which didn't effect Brawl (As what I have heard/seen around the forums/server) and just people who don't give a flip on what they do on the server or what they say and then they just rage and call this server bad without actually doing in depth and seeing how nice and amazing this community really is.

    Brawl isn't dead right now, but it is dying. If it continues at the same pace that it is at now, it will die soon imo.

    I'd gladly contribute to the survival of Brawl
    Technically, if you'd say that you are loyal to your gamemode and your gamemode alone, wouldn't it make sense you'd want to keep the server that hosts it alive?

    I'm a CTF player and I would want Brawl to live for the sake of ctf, the other gamemodes are probably fun too, but I have very little - no playtime on them and wouldn't even know if I'd like these gamemodes or not.

    Imagine this:
    Brawl is dead and finds no investors to buy your gamemode, that would make you sad right?
    The gamemode you had been playing for so long, is now just gone. You'd have to find a different server that has somewhat the same gamemode and start all over, find new friends, try to get into the local community.
    Just for ^^ it's beneficial for all players who play regularly on brawl to keep the server up.

    If Brawl dies and no investors want to buy your gamemode, it's gone. -hypothetically-
    Solution to be sure it won't die: invest in possible ways to revive / keep Brawl alive.

    I actually think it's getting better. We've had a few players join here and there almost constantly since end-April-begin-May. And when the US is awake, there are like 400-450 players online. This used to be 300-325, so we're ACTUALLY gaining some players for the first in a long time. In Europe as well, tbh. Back in March, 80 players online in the morning in the weekend (For Europe) was quite a big deal, now it's about 150-200 people on the weekend, sometimes even in the morning. Trust me, there IS growth in playerbase.
    Very good point. I totally agree with that you don't have to support the WHOLE server to keep it alive. Staying loyal to your favorite gamemode(s) could be enough to keep it alive.
    Kinda the same here. The only games I play here are CTF and Battle Royale. (And build for BUILDING maps for CTF.) I've tried out the other games, but the only two that really grabbed me were CTF and BR. I also used to be very big into Survival PvP, but when it died, and it turned into Raid, for some reason I just didn't enjoy Raid like I used to enjoy Survival PvP.
    Yeah, you're absolutely right in my opinion. If you don't want this server to go, DO something about it. You can write 1001 threads or posts about how it's dead, but that's zero contribution. Tell us WHAT is wrong and HOW we can revive it. I agree with you.
